Poll: Are You Hyped for Gamescom 2024?

Really looking forward to Wilds, that's about it.

I'm hyped to hear what Xbox games are coming over next.

I think Gamescom should be decent this year, when you look at all the games that are scheduled for the next few months and 2025. I can see us getting a handful of surprise announcements as well (although nothing too crazy).

I appreciate what Geoff tries to do. But it’s been years and he’s yet to put on a single show I’d consider good.

My wish list is just the soul reaver 1 and 2 remaster.

They should shift the Gamescom to the old June E3 time slot to become more relevant.

But this is probably easier said than done, because there are other, well established trade fairs in this venue which protect their traditional time slots.

Mildly curious would be my choice of words.

I'm actually really sick of watching this guy on my screen, he is just so unpleasant.

Any word if PlayStation is going to be there? I expect a Lego horizon release date announcement.

Lets be honest, the Xbox To PS rumors have really made Gamescom particularly interesting to see whats going on

I will break out into my happy dance if there are announcements and videos of Borderlands 4, Mafia 4, and GTA Sechs.

I'm content to toss this on a side monitor and see a neat update or two. Maybe Terry gameplay for Street Fighter, or a character announcement for City of the Wolves? I'm definitely excited to see what the new game by Tarsier is!

I'm not very hyped. Geoff is always so smug, and he usually over-hypes his shows. Still, there may very well be some interesting announcements in this show.

Nah these big shows don't do it for me anymore, I find myself playing mostly indies and smaller games nowadays. Surprisingly the games China & South Korea have been pushing out have been more interesting to me as well. I really do hope that there's another game crash that affects all the big AAA Corpos. Then I hope all the employees join various smaller studios so they continue to earn a living. Allowing these studios to swallow up more and more of themselves was the biggest downfall in gaming yet.

I think Gamescom is a bit better than SGF but since it's my day off, I will watch it with low expectations, hopefully I'll be surprised.

New Tarsier game would be nice, maybe something about Wolfeye new game.

Gamescon could win this years best award show if they only have a release date for Silksong. Not that I care, just saying.

I want to see Civ VII but it’s not exactly the sort of game that suits this hype manufacturing crap.

It would be neat if there's a Sonic X Shadow Generations trailer like there was at Summer Game Fest. Hopefully there's more 06 stages in the Shadow campaign, Kingdom Valley in June was a nice surprise.

I'm excited because two point museum will have a deep dive and a playable demo.

I'm sad I won't go.

But how can you not be excited, it's really only one of the few big events the public can go to within Europe.

Personally would love to see an announcement triller for Soul Reaver 1&2 Remastered, the new Darksiders which was teased recently, Dino Crisis remake, Croc HD which was confirmed last year early June to be in early development, Chaos Legion and Shadow of Rome remasters.
Sonic generations remaster will probably be there same as Lego Horizon Adventures.
Would love a new trailer and a bit of gameplay for Kotor remake, Wolverine,
Star Wars Eclipse, Jurassic Park Survival.
Also hoping to see something new for Pragmata and for the rumours to be true about FFIX remake and Spyro 4

I know that there’s some gameplay to be shown for Ark 2 other then that I expect something for ES6 and Fable.
Maybe Gears as well, Banjo remasters would be a nice thing to announce there.
Toys for Bob are rumoured to be on partnership with Xbox to make something so maybe it’s Banjo

Meh for me if Sony shows Legend of Dragoon then I'm happy. But does Sony even attend this show.
