My house has 2 PS4s.
The first one we bought was for the whole family. My sister, my father, and I each had an account on it. A few years ago, my dad bought himself his own PS4 for storage reasons. My sister and I bought all our own games on her account.
Today, our PS4 decided that the license for Minecraft belonged to my father's account.
For good measure, we deleted his account (untouched for years on our console) and tried to restore the licenses. It still says it belongs to our father and that we need to purchase the game (again) if we want to play it.
We decided to check on his console if he had it purchased and he did not. We checked my sister's account on his console and she had the license.
Why won't our PS4 let us play it?
@Tasuki But we did. My sister and I have the original console that we buy our games on and my dad bought his own console.
Not to mention the licenses are supposed to be tied to the accounts and not the console. Our console, upon trying to open Minecraft, claims that oir father has the license when he has never purchased it. We have some of our games downloaded on his console that we can play, so that really shouldn't be the issue.
sound odd actually, is it just Minecraft or is it happening with any other of your sisters games?
"I pity you. You just don't get it at all...there's not a thing I don't cherish!"
"Now! This is it! Now is the time to choose! Die and be free of pain or live and fight your sorrow! Now is the time to shape your stories! Your fate is in your hands!
The same thing happened with a few of my games. @Epona14 got some games on my PS4 and my account is the primary and somehow I lost access to a few of my games when she got her own PS4. Somehow a few of my licenses transferred to her account for no reason...
