As for the heavy moderation like Sammy said it hopefully won't get to that point but you know it's up to you all really. We honestly don't like to have to watch threads to make sure people are behaving but sometimes you just have to and then step in. When I do I try to disrupt the comment or thread as little as possible.

My game library ranges from Mario Kart to Call of Duty to Tales of Xillia to Diablo 3 to Forza. To me gaming is about having fun - not blindly supporting only one company while thumbing your nose at "the evil other systems."
@Diddy_kong: Thanks That pic is actually of Tasuki a character from an anime called Fushigi Yuugi. Back when I was in younger my friends said that I was most like that character especially due to our tempers. when we watched the anime together and then they started calling me Tasuki. Then just to be silly I started using as an online name and it just stuck.

I was actually referring to your profile pic, not the one of the anime that you posted. Sorry, I guess I wasn't too clear as to what pic I was referring to

@Diddy_kong: Oh yeah sorry I am also tired too so I may have misread that as well. Yeah I am a big WWE Fan started watching it back during the Hogan era stopped watching it in the early 90s and got back into it in the Attitude Era. Anyway though that is a conversation for another thread.

@Tasuki and @get2sammyb: Just been reading this and realise it pretty heavily applies to what the conversation on the Resi HD story comments thread devolved in to over the last day or 2. Just wanted to apologise, as although I do stand by what I said in principle, I appreciate it doesn't help promote the sort of community environment that's being aimed for here. I just felt that, in some ways, somebody pouring out an endless torrent of negativity can be just as bad for a community as actual confrontation, and that just ground on me until I had to say something. I find it immensely frustrating to see a guy so hell bent on rage that they can't just kick back enjoy the awesome gaming selection that is out there right now!
But anyway I'm getting off topic again there. Point being, I like what you guys are trying to do with the community here, so sorry for rocking the boat on that - I'll try and keep a bit of a cooler head about it in future.
Also, while I'm here, gotta show some respect to Tasuki for the Fushigi Yuugi reference - I never even knew there was an anime, but I loved the manga when I was younger

nobody got the blackadder gobbledygook reference then
I like it. I want to use it more often in conversation. If I'd have been here earlier that would have been done earlier, love a Blackadder quote, especially a Stephen Fry one. Baaa.
Oh Tasuki, be prepared to edit out a lot of swearing from my stuff :') It's not intentional I just don't find it offensive (even the 'c' word) and never have so write it without thinking. I try not to when I read it back but apologies in advance ****heads (haha, joking).

@SteveButler2210: Yeah about that Resident Evil article the best thing to do when someone is being all negative is like I said is just don't respond. I know it's hard but the problem with responding (especially if its a troll) is that is exactly what they want they and soon the thread or article goes into a back and forth argument. In the end you can end up getting punished as well for being a part of that regardless of who started it or not. Now it's ok to state an opinion don't get me wrong we encourage that, and not everyone is not going to see eye to eye. What we dont encourage is the banter back and forth when people don't see eye to eye and the insults start getting thrown out. If for whatever reason you think a user is being a troll or unruly please use that report button instead of engageing them in an argument.
ON a lighter not yeah Fushigi Yuugi is indeed an anime as well but a very expensive one but it was done very well. Glad to see that someone caught the reference lol.
@rastamadeus: That's fine as long as you don't get offended when I edit them.

@Tasuki I'm curious about how hard it is to moderate a big website like this? When my website was getting 100-200 forum posts and around 100 blog comments a day it was incredibly difficult for me and my moderator to keep up with the activity and moderate abusive or ToS breaking posts...I know my forums were more active than this one in its heyday, but if you include blog comments this site is clearly far more active than mine ever was...
