@tripleGK Jack and Tali and my favourite characters in the game. After failing miserably the first time on ME2 with my crew I used a game guide to work out the best combinations for the end mission. You were either lucky or skilled I will leave it for you to decide. I think The romance part of the game is handled well you have quite a few different choices and its not until fairly late on when you have to make your final decision. Its also good how you have to work at it its not just a given that you will end up with one character or another.
@tripleGK I made different romance choices in 2 and 3. That pissed off the character I romanced in 2. One of my many favourite moments in the game is when you romance Tali. The whole game you are wondering what she looks then...
I did so many side quests in the game as well. There were one or two I could not complete because the game was buggy but nothing that I really needed to do. Did you play the Citadel DLC for Mass effect 3? That was a great side story and as a mass effect fan what I wanted from a DLC
@dryrain: I was so mad when I found out that Bioware just never showed her face in a cutscene and instead just on a picture beside your bed. I haven't played ME3, but I just looked at since theirs no climax and like Tali and want her to be my romance in the game, but I really needed to know what she actually looked like. I'm glad she's hot, but Bioware still really copped out with it. Heck, they just photoshopped a models face on the internet. Here's a what I mean. One of my absolutely favorite series.
LOVE Mass Effect, even got all novels and comics.
Have played through it many times, and ME2 is my fave.
Love the story, the lore......I can't get into Star Wars, but ME? Love it.
Always thought this would make a kick ass TV series.
Always play as a Sentinel; best combo of tech and biotic powers.
Always full Paragon, just can't play Renegade with these sort of games.
Also always Liara as love interest....
Best about this series? You actually see the characters GROW with each sequal.
Liara started out as a shy, nerdy archeologist and look where she is at the end of the trilogy.
I just can't pick a fave member; love em all.
While I really look forward to Andromeda, I will really, really miss my squadmates and crew.
(btw, one of the reasons I still have my Xbox 360; games play a lot better there then on the PS3...)
Not sure how much EA tend to do remasters of games. I think one of the things which may have influenced not doing a remaster is backward compatibility on the xbox. You have the market for PS4 then probably only a very small one for the xbox. I would have bought a remaster of the game but instead got it for PC and using some of the mods.
As Andromeda is a completely new story in the Mass Effect universe, its probably less likely to get a remaster. Its size as a trilogy, with all the potential outcomes etc, probably make it a very difficult and time consuming undertaking and I doubt they would just do 1. A trilogy on the same disc may not make financial sense.
If Andromeda was a continuation - like Uncharted 4 is going to be, then it may make sense to have a remastered trilogy and the decisions etc impacting in Adromeda, but as its supposed to be separate its not as relevant.
I really enjoyed the Trilogy and would be interested in a Remaster but doubt my decisions would have changed if I replayed it anyway.
A pessimist is just an optimist with experience!
Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??
Feel free to add me but please send a message so I know where you know me from...
