Topic: Top Spin 4 demo

Hi guys,

Anyone downloaded this from PSN yet? I want to try it out but nowhere can I find mention if it's Move-enabled or not. Let me know and I'll love you forever.

I dont think PSN has been updated yet so i think the demo is currently on xbox 360 only,  probably be another 3-6 hours til US store is updated.

This topic thread is becoming more about PSN, but I hate how late it get's updated.  It's usually Wednesday morning, my time, after I leave for work, so all that time I could be downloading while away is wasted and it ends up being another whole day before I get into any DLC.

Just played it. It's pretty great, can,t wait to buy the whole game. A first real move game in my opinion. it's still early tho, maybe i'll discover something wrong but first impresion is reallly good.

you also control your player with the move controller, wich is nice, i thought it would be a la wii sports players moving automaticlly... but you have control 100%

@cedric34 awesome news I cant wait to give it a try. I do admit it kinda sucks the tennis controls are not 1:1 like in sports champions but at the same time its a more technical kind of game, not one that has relied on realistic controls in the past.

Still downloading the demo, but IMO, I don't always want 1:1 control.  Sometimes too much realism takes away from the game play, I feel.  I mean, I'm not a tennis player (anymore than I am a golfer as in Tom Daly's Pro Stroke Golf; or a fighter ala The Fight Lights out)  As I game, I can have fun playing, but don't expect me to beat any pros if it's a 1:1 game.

It's not 1:1?  Well, there goes any chance of me getting Move, unless the other tennis game features 1:1.  I do play tennis in real life and was hoping for 1:1 support after being disappointed by the lack of it on the Wii with Grand Slam Tennis.  Oh well.

Damn why didn't i phone in sick for work today? lol.  Can't wait to go home and download this and test the Move control out.

How does this work?  Is there an option to use DS or Navigation controller to move around the court?

uggghh...I just realized I shut off my PS3 last night while I had this downloading.   I was playing Star Ocean and forgot I had it downloading in th backgound......  I wonder how much of it was downloaded before I shut it off.

I guess I will find out when I get home from work tonight....

Damn, i'm home now and i can't find it in the UK store even though it has been updated

@wastedyuthe DS or navigation controller both work, just tried it. But the navigation is the best option in my opinion

@wastedyuthe might only be on US playstation store, create an american/canadian account and download it there.

I couldn't get it to work with the DS and Move, it kept looking for a Navigation controller, and I haven't got one yet, so I had to just play with the DS only till my Navi arrives

I heard you could control your character with the Move, but they might have been refering to the nav controller.

Nice, I like that is has Nav controller support.  That was a selling point for me.  Lets hope it is implemented well.   Now I need to remove my ceiling fan so I don't hit the light on it while playing

Looks like I need to get myself an American account tonight then! Looking forward to trying this one - I wonder if it can unseat my beloved Virtua Tennis, though!
