Nice, I like that is has Nav controller support. That was a selling point for me
Same for me. However, I find it strange that they have forced Nav only with the Move, being unable to use the DS instead (as Killzone has). DS with Move isn't ideal I know, but the option should at least be there for those who haven't got a Nav controller.
The last Tennis game I owned was the first Virtua Tennis for the Dreamcast. I loved that game, so I can't expect a lot going in. I know I will give both demos (when they are both out) a fair shake before deciding on one, but I look forward to having a tennis game in my collection again.

me too actually, it had the best tennis mini/training games ever.
@wastedyuthe Cedric34 says the demo supports both Navigation and DualShock when playing with Move.
Yes I know, but I have tried the demo myself attempting to use the DS with Move, and it simply won't accept it. It accepts the Move controller then asks to pair it with a Nav controller, which I haven't got, so have to cancel and just use a DS on its own.
@wastedyuthe just hold down L2 on your ds controller plus the trigger or whichever button on the move. It will accept it.
Ahhh, thanks!! It does specifically ask for a Nav controller, so i didn't think to try lol. Now I have played it, I like it, although it takes some getting used to the timing still. I posted this in the comments of the post on the main blog:
"I like the demo, but wish it would let you replay a match instead of having to keep going back to the Menu when one ends. I like the DS control, and have got used to holding down the button and letting go at the right times. However, I have now tried with the Move control and have mixed feelings about it. It feels better swinging something instead of just holding a button then letting go. But the timing for me was actually harder to get right with the Move, and my character still swung his racket at times even though i hadn't done so with the Move. It just seems like it half registers your motion and half decides what it wants to do itself. Movement around the court works well, but it seems you also control where you want your shot placed using the analogue stick too, instead of aiming with the correct motion of the Move controller. You can motion forward with your Move, but if you are holding to one side on the stick your character will hit their shot in that direction. Racket Sports had a lot of slack for not getting its hit direction right and being too tough to direct shots, but at least it did try to allow you to direct your shot using your Move motion. Grand Slam on the Wii got it right in this regard. Not sure about this game now tbh. Might wait to see how Virtua fares in comparison"
yeah i was bummed about that too, would have been fun if you want to lob you hit upward.... but move is still early so we never know. Maybe it's a wait for virtua tenis for me too
Remember when we played NBA live 96 and couldnt believe how real it all was????
Yea I've played with the demo enough times now to realise how much it stinks of laziness with regard to Move control. Some of this doesn't make any sense at all- why should we have to hold T when swinging to slice, when swinging diagonally up with the Move performs a top spin? Diagonally down should be just as easy to implement for a slice surely. And surely an upward swing can be registered for lobs instead of a button. sad day
