Probably the greatest fighting game ever has reached PSN. It's awesome.
I have it and I would very much like to play against any of you. My PSN ID is DaddyNewts -- please add me.
The game is £9.99/$14.99 but you can pay £19.99/$29.99 and get the game and all DLC customisation packs. I have the Sarah pack (£3.69 on its own) and I now have a Sarah dressed like Ulala. When she wins, she sometimes gets her blasters out (steady) and fires them. I hear Akira has a Ryo Hazuki costume too, and you can dress up El Blaze as Amigo from Samba de Amigo.
Basically this game is amazing and you should buy it.
I agree. I've been horsing around with customizing characters for a while. Making Wolf an American football player, Jacky a stereotypical movie star, and trying really hard to make them mimic everybody's classic outfits (and failing most of the time).
Shame I play only on a DualSHOCK 3. Those sticks and pads aren't getting any cheaper, and my rank won't be growing any faster even after unlocking all trophies (6th kyu). D:
Yes I am, but it won't be until later this week. Don't wait for the review, just buy it, and preferably get all the costume packs too so you can see all the crazy costumes online.
I'm addicted. I simply love this game. Everything about it is so polished and fun. Sure, I'm bad at it but I actually want to play until I improve ten folds.
The last time I wanted to sit down with a fighting game and improve was back in 2008 with Super Smash Bros. Brawl. My day is made.

What didn't you like about VF5, Mickeymac? Bear in mind that VF5 on PS3 was running on version B while this is (I think) three or four revisions later.
@Chrono_Cross We should play VF5 a lot. I can teach you much.

Send me a friend request whenever you want to. My PSN is in my signature.
But yeah I'm pretty awful and I always get my a** rocked online. I've been told using a joystick works wonderfully compared to Dualshock 3 but I can't shell out that much money for one fighter.
Plus, I need to main one character for a little bit so I can get the feel for the game. Any recommendations? Jean seems really easy for newbies.
Jean is decent and has the advantage that nobody really knows what he can do as it's his first home console appearance, but he's a bit boring for my tastes.
Personally I'd say Jacky or Lau might be better choices; both are powerful, have varied combos and some nice launchers. When you start to get more advanced you can get into their other stances and so on. Brad is also pretty strong and unpredictable, as long as you don't mind "sh, sh, sh" as he steps!
I will add you later on, hopefully we can play this weekend. I also know a few other people have added me and I would love to play you guys -- I hope we can squeeze in some matches this weekend!
That looks like a decent stick. If it were me I'd have Cross as guard, Triangle as punch and Square as Kick so you have a nice 'angle' to the buttons, but that's my preference. For what it's worth, here's the stick I use: Hori Fighting Stick 2 and it's not bad: stick's a little loose but otherwise it's a winner.
If anyone wants to add me my PSN ID is "eastyprime" I'm not very good just bought a fightstick today so I'm learning how to use it properly. I've got the usual fighting games like SFIV, MK and MvC3 also.
