@TheBrandedSwordsman ahh that’s good to know! Think I’ll wait on that one. As for the rainbow, there’s a quest tied to it, Jumble’s Jus. He needs rainbow concentrate as an ingredient to make it, and you essentially get a very powerful potion out of it. Completing it apparently earns you a specific trophy.

@Jimmer-jammer My next quest is against the Porky Puff now, so if you go after the Jumbo Puff in the deadzone first we should end up in the same place soon. It isn't exactly Dark Souls, combat-wise though is it? I don't think we have anything to be afraid of.

@TheBrandedSwordsman I’ve got the mekton going now (the deadzone isn’t as deadly as I thought) so that’s been fun. And to you were right about finding the items near the mounts. I’m partially blind apparently. I’ve been playing on hard which has felt about right but yes, Dark Souls this is not. I’m still really enjoying it!

I just met up with Gulp , as someone fond of the occasional beverage, he is easily my favorite NPC in the game thus far, just need to get the Googlide up to speed and I'll be ready to take on the Porky Puff, arguably the hardest boss in the game, by all accounts thus far

@TheBrandedSwordsman I defeated the Jumbo Puff last night. The first world eater I’ve taken down after 27 hours of playing haha this game is ridiculously huge. Got the oxygen suit as well as the biohazard suit. Good luck with Porky!

Despite the mixed reviews, I'll be getting this on a sale for sure. I anticipated the game since it was first shown and even despite the reviews, I still find myself interested in it. And it looks like the dev team has been getting those patches out. So that's a definite plus.

@SavoyPrime I’ve enjoyed my time very much with the game though a lot of the publicized criticisms are valid. If you enjoy making your own adventure along with loads of looting, crafting and exploring, there is good fun to be had here. Each individual part is only skin deep but it all adds up to an overall enjoyable whole. Hope you enjoy your time with it!

@jdv95 of course! Just to be clear I’m still playing it. I’ve put in 31 hours thus far and taken down one world eater. I can’t imagine the game having the legs to sustain a 100% play through without devolving into utter tedium as there is a LOT to find and only so much depth, so I may fast track the ‘story’ at some point but for now I’m still having a lot of fun running around exploring the world and completing side quests.

@Jimmer-jammer wow the game must be longer then i expected than.

i know the map is fairly big but did not know it is packed with so much content.

@jdv95 playtime will vary wildly for this game. I don’t use fast travel and a solid 2 to 3 of those hours have been spent in photo mode (it’s a fantastic game for photo mode! Though the feature itself is bare bones, it feels like the game was built for taking photos) but it’s a sizeable game for sure. I’m certain it could be beat fairly quickly if so desired. What I’ve been doing is loading up on side quests and then exploring the world, ticking off the boxes. There is quite a bit of variety in what you do, as simple as it all is.

@Jimmer-jammer seems to be a classic case of a game geting a lukewarm reception from critics but players actually liking it a fair bit.

had a look at the platinum and it all seems very doable.
perhaps the only issue with it could be time cosuming related.

either way it's on my radar for sure.

I beat the Jumbo Puff last night and I must say this game is beautiful. As I was playing I was analysing everything and I genuinely don't understand where the hate for Biomutant is coming from.

@RubyCarbuncle I got a pretty awesome picture from that fight. When Jumbo Puff picks up the electrical cable and starts swinging it at you The lighting was really well done.
