Topic: Black Ops 3 Zombie Chronicles.

Treyarch have announced Black Ops 3 Zombie Chronicles, 8 remastered maps that are (not in order) Nacht der Untoten, Shangri-La, Moon, Kino der Toten, Shi No Numa, Ascension, Verruckt & Origins. This coming Monday 8th May Treyarch will be streaming Zombie Chronicles, and the best news Zombies chronicles will be releasing in 11 days 16th May.

Its happening DLC 5 aka Zombie chronicles, the hype is real.

Honestly I am not that big on Zombies. I liked IW Zombies in Spaceland mainly due to the setting but I could never find a group to play with. I wish they would add some multiplayer maps as well with this DLC. I won't pick this one up more then likely as there are other games I want to get now that are more important to me.

I love Zombies so i'm really looking forwards to a week on Tuesday, but i can understand if people are not really into Zombies. I was very surprised by IW Zombies as it turned out really good, so i am definitely going to swap between the two to play. I am not sure if you are aware but some Zombies players will not even touch IW Zombies because its not made by Treyarch, to me that's just nuts. I'm playing Shaolin Shuffle the new Zombies map at the moment, for me it has the best Easter Egg so far a really in-depth EE.

I can understand if your a fan of Zombies then yeah this is great news but like I said someone who isn't.

As a fan of Zombies, I think this is great but I do think its missing some of the best Zombies maps. My favourite was Call of the Dead and Mob of the Dead was good too but really didn't like Moon.

I think IW's Zombies is fun but Treyarchs are so much more interesting and definitely deeper as well as superior too... Also had some great music Easter Eggs too...

@Kyroki I want to say it's free with the season pass but I am not 100% sure, but they do advertise it as DLC pack 5.

@Kyroki So from what I am hearing it won't be included in the season pass reason being Black Ops 3's season is over.

@Tasuki I never expected it to be included in with the Season Pass. The Season Pass, stated that it included 4 DLC map packs which as you say were released in the first year (season) of the game. You don't buy a Season Ticket for a sports club and expect a free seat for life!

@BAMozzy You would.be surprised by how many are.expecting it to be free because they have the season pass. But then again the younger generation are always looking for something for nothing so it's no surprised that alot of them are raging cause of this.

@BAMozzy i agree Treyarch does the best Zombies mode especially after 8 years, but IW Zombies is good especially for there first attempt. Also not surprised its not part of the season pass, i think the real question will be is how much it'll cost.

@banacheck IW just copied what Treyarch have done. The same principals and format have been utilised too. Its come a long way since the first 'bonus' zombie mode in W@W which has helped IW too. The way Treyarch has expanded the format, adding in Perks, Pack-a-Punch, story, traps, easter eggs, etc etc so by the time IW (and Sledgehammer for that matter) added a Zombie mode, they had the template to follow. I had hoped the Extinction, which I also enjoyed, could have utilised this format - instead of having a defined pathway and ending. Basically Zombies but with Aliens with a defined ending only if you complete the 'easter egg' but could go on and on too...

As for pricing, its not easy to guess. I wouldn't be surprised if its sold for £15ish - the price of a standard DLC drop but it could vary by +/- £5. Its in an 'old' game and its Zombies only which is popular but not as popular as the MP but it does contain more than a standard drop - albeit remastered content even though they do include the gobblegum machines.

I will have to buy it - despite the fact its missing my favourite Map of all time - Call of the Dead. Mob of the Dead was another favourite of mine that's missing too. I enjoyed Buried and Five as well but never got on with Moon. The amount of times some 'idiot' would think they could take on the masses at the opening part on their own, the amount of times the 'low' gravity would cause issues and hated the feel of the movement. At least Origins is coming back - my 2nd favourite map.

I would love Treyarch to bring ALL the maps forward and would buy a 'Season Pass' to get the remainder - inc Dead-Ops Arcade, Transit (although I didn't really think that was the best), Five etc

Activision also says that you do need to own Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 base game in order to play Zombies Chronicles (No surprises there)

The Expansion costs £24.99 ($29.99) and is not included with the Black Ops 3 Season Pass. Xbox and PC date still to be announced... This is the first time these maps have been on PS first as they all came to Xbox first last gen...

@Kyroki No its not a stand alone, you need Black Ops 3 installed in order to play it.

@Kyroki Well rumored anyway that MWR will be sold separately.
