Finally after many years Borderlands 3 will be revealed tomorrow at PAX. Let's start the discussion here.
I am really excited about this Borderlands is one of my favorite franchises I still play 2 to this day so when I saw the trailer today OMG I got hyped.
To me it looks like after Handsome Jack was defeated maybe all hell broke lose more so on the planet and these two twins I guess you can call them now are trying to get order in their own way.
Maybe I am right maybe I am no and those twins are new vault hunters but I guess we will see tomorrow.

@KALofKRYPTON Not really. After once you get out of the area you can ran into him in town but thats it really. I could say more but I don't want to reveal spoilers
Wow that is a fantastic trailer good work. Tales from the Borderlands was brilliant imo. I only spent a limited amount of time with Borderlands as a looter shooter but this time I will go all in.
@Kyroki Are you buying this one mate? Would be a laugh to run through it with you.

I do like the Borderlands Game and have been patiently waiting for them to formally announce and reveal the next game in this fun shooter. I have tended to just play them with 1 of character choices but I still got a lot of value and fun from these. Maybe I will go back one day and start a new character for fun but right now, I am adding more and more new games to my growing collection, all of which offer something totally new so my backlog needs to be at least reduced a bit before I go back and play through something 'old' and played already...

Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??

Trailer looks fantastic! The game oozes personality. Really looking forward to it even though they still retained the same art direction. Another thing, I was hoping they would change is for it to be a third person game instead of a first person one but that's just me not liking fps games.
Would be cool if if they let players can share loot in this one too.
Trailer was quite Meh I thought. It was a typical trailer that shows a lot but still shows very little too. I much prefer 'longer' segments that shows some of the actual game-play than all these little bits spliced together that fly by so fast you don't get to really see 'anything' - at least not unless you go back and watch the trailer at 25% speed or wait for inevitable trailer break down by IGN for example.
Visuals are what I expected - were never going to compete with the ultra-realistic look that other games go for. Still retained the look of the previous games - perhaps with a bit more going on. I know its 'relatively' early in the publicity, the first reveal, but I kind of expected more - after all the 'pre-hype' inc the 'pre-hype' in the show that was a mess with technical hitches - oh and a lame 'magic' trick that was clearly a set up (the first couple of cards the girl counted out showed that ALL the cards had the same image and signature - also why he never actually showed the cards in the other deck to prove they were different) - guaranteed to get him up on stage by asking who's got a Birthday as the key word to keep the likelihood of potential people low too...
Anyway, now I have 'spoiled' that lame 'magic trick' that was spoiled by the wrong camera view, as well as spoiled by technical hitch after technical hitch, I wasn't as excited as I thought I would or perhaps should of been at a new Borderlands game. I think that in part though was because the trailer, came at the very end and felt more like a 'one more thing' instead of the 'main attraction', the big 'feature', the reason we all tuned in... They spent more time on a stupid 'Magic' trick.
I am sure over the coming [insert time span here] before release, we will get more info, some actual unbroken game-play segment, some introduction to the main protagonists etc but right now, Its on my wanted list just because its Borderlands 3, but I can't say I am overly excited by it... yet!!!

This was EXACTLY what I needed after all the “hyper realistic army guy” shooters, finally something with some personality! It’ll no doubt be more of the same, but that’s exactly what I want, really.
My interest has piqued in this after the disappointing Rage 2 (the more I see of it the less I want to play it) and being less than impressed by latest footage of The Outer Worlds (that needs a lot of work presentation wise).
There has been some good feedback too with the gunplay reportedly being much improved. It was fine in the other games but just felt a bit flat. They sound awesome but lack the weight that other FPS have. Hopefully the driving is also improved and I've never liked how the game dumps you back to the last checkpoint. There seemed to be a lot of unnecessary backtracking imo.
Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
