I know Xenoverse will be a change from other DBZ games and you will be able to fight alongside friends & want to add some players who will be playing the game who I can team up with. Wait wait wait wait what? It's open world? I generally ignore most new DBZ games, as they never really captured the magic of the series for me (apart from the Legacy of Goku games on GBA, they were awesome), and as such I have let this totally pass me by so far.
Seems I may have to start taking an interest!

It's not quite open world. I think what @iGaymerGuyJudas is means is the online and mission hub, where you use your custom character, is quite large and open. You can meet friends there and stuff, a bit like an MMO.
