@themcnoisy Now for publisher: is this like TIME's Person of the Year, or is it a popularity contest?

Publisher of the Year: Sony - well it wasn't going to be EA now was it!! Sony published 2 of my top 5 with Ubisoft, Bethesda and Activision making up the other 3. Horizon:ZD is my game of the year and the fact that Sony gave GG the freedom to create a game out of their comfort zone has to be applauded.

As far as PushSquare Staff member vote goes, I honestly can't pick one over the others. Its been a great year and they have all contributed into making this site one of my go to's for all gaming news/reviews etc so a big shout out to all!

Good stuff guys, you know what they say - the best always comes in third. I think I heard that once, anyway.

As for best publisher, er.. perhaps props to Bethesda for putting out strong single player games.

Best content producer at PS is Quintumply. I just like his tone. Everyone does a good job though so it's a tough pick.

The Staff member vote is a tough one.

POFTY : EA Hear me out okay? I think EA deserves at least one vote because of how massively they they screwed up this year. Their stock prices have plummeted by $6bn USD and their reputation is in relative shambles. Because of these corporate jackwagons governments, MSM outlets, and interconnected communities across the internet are aware and outraged. I think next year will spark a big change in how games are monetised post-launch, and I think, or rather hope, it'll be great! EA is the sacrificial lamb and other publishers smell the blood in the water.

PSSMOFTY : Oh man this one is so hard... I've really never been on a site where the staff interact with the community so much. I think I'd have to give it to Sammy; I appreciate the time he takes for his replies and the fact that he will reply to comments even if he's not mentioned to give his insights. I usually only read the news rather that reviews on the site, I do read them sometimes, but I read the NFS review and I thought it was insightful enough to deter people who were curious about the game but wary about MTX and lootboxes.
