@nessisonett With regard to Elden Ring, the official info says there will be much more of a focus on RPG elements, not action, but melee-based action will still be present. Do you think, based on this information, it will still be worth buying the game, as Dark Souls games are known for their combat, and if so, why?

@Draco_V_Ecliptic I think it’s probably too early to make a judgment. I personally like RPGs though and I couldn’t warm to Sekiro so it sounds more suited to my tastes.

I don't think this question is worth a new topic. So up until now in my PS4 I only played fighting games online with strangers. Now I have started playing with friends and we have no idea how to speak a la Skype while playing without using a phone. We will play Diablo, Tekken, Dead Souls etc.

It is done simply by plugging a mobile phone headset in the PS4 controller? Do we have to set a party or something beforehand?

@belmont Yeah, set up a party on the PS4 and you will be able to chat to each other. You'll need a gaming headset to chat (can plug into the USB on the console) or I guess headphones with a mic that can plug into the controller would also work but I've never tried that.

One more question: I guess there is no way random people entering in our "party"?

@belmont No. Invite only.

EDIT: not necessarily true actually as you can see parties your PSN friends have made and can join them but I think it's easy to kick people out and I've never known anyone randomly join one.

@Fight_Teza_Fight A bit late, but it's been removed. The wishlist is literally only on PS5 now, can't access it anywhere else. The new store is really a mess.

So what's the deal with the PS4 now? My launch model PS4 is slowing dieing so I wanted to get a new one before it does completely but I can't find one anywhere for sale. Walmart, Target, GameStop, Best Buy are all sold out. Are people that confused between the PS4 and the PS5? It's just odd that I can't find one anywhere.

@Tasuki The week before Christmas is usually a bad time to buy anything. From what we can tell it seems as if Sony are shipping roughly equal numbers of PS5 and PS4 Slim Consoles and no PS4 pros. A combination of Covid and Christmas make it hard to get anything.

@Jaz007 Oh that sucks. Had like 20 games in my wish list, just cause the discounts would be applied if a game I liked was on sale. Sony’s loss.

Ok guys need a little help figuring this out. I picked up a slim PS4 to finally retire my launch PS4 till I can get a PS5. So I just have a few questions.

1). I read that with a LAN cable I can copy everything from my original PS4 to my new one. Is it that easy?

2). I have a 5tb external hard drive for my launch PS4. Do I just unplug it and plug it into the new PS4?

I think that's it for now if I think of anything else I will post it.

@Tasuki Yes and yes. Just make sure you download the latest firmware update on your new ps4 and are signed in before you start transferring stuff.

If it works the same way as when I did it with my ps5, you get to choose what to transfer over.

Has anyone seen this surprised pushsquare hasn't covered it at the 5:10 mark. Sony forced to unblock Ps5 consoles in brazil over the Ps5 plus collection.

@JohnnyShoulder Right I did read that as well.. That's good to know it's that simple. And I do plan on putting what I can on the cloud just as a precaution.

@RogerRoger Thanks, I haven't actually been able to do it yet been busy with work and then the New Year,. I actually want to do some rearranging to how I have the consoles set up as well as add an Xbox One to the tv so yeah all that will have to happen when I have a day off from work.

Hi guys, I recently decided to make the jump from Xbox to Playstation, mainly because of the exclusives. I got a PS4 Slim and a few games (Borderlands 3, Crash 4, GTA 5) and I'm really excited to join the PS fam!
