I hope some one here can help me. I have been itching to play a baseball game (Haven't really played a Baseball game since the days of the SNES) and I have heard some good things about this game, but I was wondering is this a game where it's easy to pick up and play. I mean I am not a baseballoholic but I know the basics of it. One thing that turns me off to newer sports titles (especially Madden games) is how technical it is. I just want a game where I can pick up and play and have a good time.
So how deep does this game go?

You can tweak things to make the game more approachable if you're a casual fan, but honestly, this is a series that really is aimed at the baseball junkie. As somebody who loves the sport, I can't think of a better representation of it than this series, but if you're just looking to pick up and play here and there, it's not really like the older, more arcadey days of Ken Griffey baseball on SNES/N64.
I just downloaded this its very good, but the LOADING TIMES are an absolute disgrace!! It takes 3 or 4 minutes to load up a simple home run derby. unacceptable this is the PS4 FFS. Be warned before you buy this game, the loading screens/times are ridiculous.

Ok thanks for the input. Think I will skip this one and go ahead and pick up RBI Baseball.

The loading times is the first thing that stuck out to me when I first played it. It's a bit much for sure, but I've gotten more used to it. The graphics do look amazing for sure, and my son and I have had a lot of fun with it so far. That being said, I'm not sure it's that much better than MLB 13 The Show for PS3. It didn't blow me away like I wanted it to, but it is what it is. It's a great game of baseball, and there are lots of hours to be had.
