Have you guys picked a clan? There are so many and no obvious winners.
@andreoni79 it is about learning her attacks and how to counter them - dodge the stun projectile to the side. Walk back out of the meter kick combo and punish after. Use grenades at the end.
@Mega-Gazz Thanks, I'll try to use grenades too tonight. BTW I have no problem evading most of her attacks and I can also knock her down while she is floating in the air; problem is my attacks are very weak. Tried sword, double swords, spear and the chain-thing but still...
@Mega-Gazz I use mid stance for regular attacks and high stance to hit her once she's knocked. Weapons are around 17-18 IIRC but once at home I'll check them. Should I quit the mission and spend some time in the forge (never used after Mission 1) to see if I can get better weapons since I killed every revenants in the caves?
@andreoni79 I cheesed that fight. She's just too fast.
Check your equipment and put on paralyzing reducing gear (think I had archer stuff at the time).
As for the actual fight I went high stance Spear. Overhead attack followed by the sideways swipe (2 attacks) than retreat. When she is in the air I evaded her projectiles and waited for her to come down, that gives you a little window to get a couple of hits in.
The key for me was to stay fairly close and sucker her into using that melee combo, which she ends with a somersault kick. That's another opening.
Keep at it. Once you know the range of her attacks you can keep chipping away at her health.
I must have attempted this boss 15-20 times before I beat her.
@Mega-Gazz I went with Todo. Increases health proportional to stamina and increases attack based on number of heavy armor equipped. My main is a axe so that extra health boost, every time I level up stamina is nice.

I went with Date.... so +5 seconds to living weapon, and +100 LW durability. I then did the snow/ice level and w/ paired raiken and equipped with raikiri, and managed to kill the boss inside a single living weapon use. I literally couldn't tell you what the bosses moves are because I was immune to damage spamming attack the whole time.
@Mega-Gazz That's insane! Her projectiles were deadly. That was probably my hardest boss fight as well. So much death.

I posted a simple poll on GameFaqs about save scumming (because RNG in crafting in this game), and the internet happened, and two guys are still swearing at each other. Would never happen here
Just finished NiOh!
Took me 84 hours to finish the main campaign + all but 2 sub missions.
I died 1149 times :'D - I know I'm BAD!!
Fantastic game. 9/10 for me. The first 2/3 of the game were fantastic, then came a few sections/boss fights that were rather unimaginative, but they got me back at the end.
Also the way New Game+ has been integrated ensures that I'll continue playing. Once I have better gear I'll return to those two sub missions...They are impossible right now.
Really looking forward to the DLC.
To anyone interested you can check gametime when you manually load the game.

@Mega-Gazz I found only a single weapon so far with Fire but it's a LVL 8 katana and I should spend all the coins I have with soul matching to made it at least LVL 35 which is my standard now. If I disassemble it will I get the necessary materials to forge me a brand new fire katana?
Looks like today the new patch will realise two dreams of mines!

So, I've been mostly katana so far with almost 50 heart, but have been thinking of respecting to axe with a boatload of stam, being both the primary dps stat for axe and the armor weight stat... so I'd hit like a truck and wear heavy armor. Anyone try a build like that?
