Oh man - I am up backlog creek without a paddle to be honest.

Here is what I am currently playing and want to get through:

1) God of War - PS4
2) Skyrim - Switch
3) Mario Land - 3DS

Up next will change but here is what I want to do:

1) Detroit Become Human
2) A Way Out
3) Dark Souls

Honestly, if I get through my current backlog in 3 months I'll be impressed. Skyrim will take me till Christmas if I keep playing through every little side quest. I might not buy Detroit or Dark Souls in May as it depends on progress with God of War and Skyrim.

@themcnoisy I beat the first Yakuza when it was on PS2, but you're right. I have to at least start Kiwami up. Haha.

My PS4 backlog is back-breaking, so I’ll just list the 3 that I have going that I hope to finish. (And this is not including Vita which has a backlog all its own):

1. Bloodborne
2. Persona 5
3. Gravity Rush 2

I decided I need to hold my purchases for a while until I make progress in my backlog. So I am wavering about purchases. That being said, I have 3 that I will buy for sure day 1, no matter what state my backlog is in:

1. Spiderman
2. Shadow of the Tomb Raider
3. Red Dead Redemption 2

Realistically, if I am honest with myself, I expect I will cave and buy something before September, so I reserve the right to have a few impulse buys between now and Sept 7th 😉

I'm currently playing God of War, and I intend to finish it, so I won't include it in the following lists.

@Kidfried Btw, we have similar games we’re planning to play so I might just coincide with you since it’s been fun being Bloodborne newbs together. I have already bought AC Origins and Yakuza 0, just need to figure out when to put them in the rotation. So if/when you do, I might just join you.

My backlog is enormous and covers an array of platforms both current and old. The next three I'm planning on doing are;

1. Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth
2. Tales of Zestiria
3. Dragon Quest VIII (going to start again with this because I didn't get very far).

I'll probably get waylaid especially as all three are pretty long but we'll see.

The next three planned purchases are more difficult because when it comes to things already out I'm a bit more spontaneous. I'll probably treat myself to something for my birthday and don't know what yet.

2) EITHER Nier: Automata OR Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition (if Nier: Automata goes low enough in the golden week sale, I'll probably nab that, as I've been wanting to play it; otherwise, I'll just hold on to my Hyrule Warriors pre-order)
3) EITHER Hollow Knight OR Valkyria Chronicles 4 (depends on which releases first)

@Th3solution @mookysam Yeah Ive strayed away from open world stuff for about a week now before I head back in to Nier Automata. Stupidly started knack doh!

You can add a load of PS Plus games to that as well, such as Batman, Tearaway and Amnesia, but I don't usually stress about getting to the PS Plus ones since I didn't really pay for them. God of War has been brought forward, I was going to wait but I think I might be getting it after SotC is done with.
The only thing I can see taking ages here is Dark Souls, since I'll probably be going for the platinum as it's the only Dark Souls plat I haven't got.
PS Plus is going to have to pull something pretty good out of the bag this month to knock me off course...

Backlog games are titles that I already have, right? I'm asking because there are many released games that I still want to play, but I didn't purchase it. For example, there is Yakuza Zero, I want to play it soon but I don't have with me. Does it count on my backlog? :3

@PS_Nation Games in your backlog usually means stuff you own which you have either not finished or started.

The OP also wants us to post what 3 games you intended to purchase next and what games you are currently playing so we can keep track of em.
