Mine got delivered today in work. Waiting for my bus, can't wait to get home and play it!

So good to be back in this world. The level design is utterly superb, one of the best.

I noticed straight away that the graphics have been improved. Ok some of the textures are showing their age now, but I'm cool with that if it keep the frame rate stable. Which makes a huge difference.

And plus gameplay wise it still rules and has not aged.

@kyleforrester87 The second bell is in Quelaag's Domain and you need to defeat her to get to it, and to reach her you have to go through Blighttown. You can come across it from multiple other areas, though the most common is by completing the The Depths after beating the boss there. You should come across The Depths from exploring Lower Undead Burg.

There is a way to kill the skeletions, some weapons can and there is also an item you use to imbue standards weapons with. You can also get items of clothing which light up, I found that very useful in the Tomb of Giants.

@JohnnyShoulder sorry for the delay, I kinda saw you gave me some hints but I’m trying to play blind as far as possible I just got to Anor Londo so I think I’m ploughing along! I have had to look up a couple of bonfire locations though. I’m playing offline so don’t benefit from tips.. or suffer “tips” lol

@kyleforrester87 Good luck, I would have really struggled playing without a guide, especially when I first played it on 360. Quite liked playing it online, didn't experience too many invaders when I played the remaster. Quite missed that aspect from Sekiro.

@kyleforrester87 Hold on is this your first time playing it? I thought you were just doing a re-run!

Good job, Parappa. You can go on to the next stage now.

@kyleforrester87 Well holy heck. Enjoy. You seem to be cruising through at a decent rate given it's your first go.

What stopped you beating 3? Just curious

@Gremio108 if I remember correctly it just got way too easy and it wasn’t fair on the game anymore*.

Yeah I’ve been hammering it a lot in the past week, honestly I have had 3-4 pointers here or there but it’s not been too hard so far. Accidentally going all the way to the end of the tomb of the giants, lighting a bonfire, getting stuck in the dark and finding my way out all in one afternoon was a real experience. I killed Patches after my first conversation with him, didn’t trust him at all. Apparently I was right to do so 😂

*i might not be remembering correctly. I plan on playing DS2 through and 3 through fully next though.

@kyleforrester87 Yeah Patches is a swine in all the Soulsborne games lol. I kept expecting him to turn up in Sekiro.

@kyleforrester87 Ha ha that was one of the parts I gave up when i first played it on the 360. Think I was like you and not looking at any guides. Must have been a good 3 months before I attempted it again lol.

@JohnnyShoulder It's just silly really. I googled it and other people have been stuck on it. My only viable strategy at the moment involves a lot of luck and getting him to hit me in a way that causes him to fall off. Poison arrows are a good tactic by the looks of it so I might give that a go. Bit of back tracking involved in that case.

Bummer really as it's just.. stupid lol.

@kyleforrester87 Those archers and this sodding skeleton are my overriding memories from DS1..

@kyleforrester87 You say you got out, but no-one ever truly leaves the Tomb of the Giants. A part of you stays in there forever.................

When I played the PS3 version, no joke I somehow first-timed those archers in Anor Londo, I don't even know how. From then on, whenever anyone mentioned it I got all sniffy and laughed at them. "What are you on about?" I said. "It's easy."

Must have taken me twenty goes on the PS4 version. I genuinely could not do it.

Good job, Parappa. You can go on to the next stage now.
