@dryrain: Is this the full game? Just asking as I saw a similar price in store at Morrisons. Then I spied a little sticker stating it was Zombies multiplayer only -_- Sure that must have stung more than a few people.
Apparently there is 20% off at ebay between 4-10pm minimum spend £20 maximum saving is £50 discount code is CUK20 not sure if it is for everyone or just targeted users, UK paypal users only
There are some fantastic bargains in the NA store sale. If you have not created an account then its worth creating one for canada rather than the US because the cheaper games tend to be the same $ price and the exchange rate is better with canada than the US.
Tearaway Unfolded about £4
Little Big Planet about £4
Killzone shadowfall £4
The Order 1864 about £4
Bully £3
Metro Redux 2033 £2.50
Manhunt £3
Rogue Galaxy £3
Sorry for the bump, but just thought I'd share this.
For anyone looking to pre-order anything, TheGameCollection has a 10% off everything promotion code - E3HANGOVER - that works with pre-orders as well as regular purchases. The offer ends today, and their prices generally are very good, so have a look! I'd say these two are probably the best value (prices with 10% off applied):
Tesco Direct have a 2 for £80 on Pre-Orders - some great titles including Battlefield 1, Titanfall 2, CoD:Infinite Warfare (not Legacy edition), Fifa17, Mass Effect, Mafia 3, Watchdogs 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, Last Guardian etc. If you also use code TDX-KTRP you get an additional £10 off bringing the games down to £35 each....
@BAMozzy: To be fair, by the time ME:A comes out the £50 you'll need to spend without having preordered will be worth more than £35 today due to inflation..
@kyleforrester87: LOL Maybe... I just picked 2 that I hadn't yet pre-ordered and still wanted - I already have the 'special' editions of CoD and Horizon pre-ordered and Days Gone and Spider-Man (2 other games I considered) have only just been announced so could be even further away from releasing.
@BAMozzy: Actually, long day and I'm an idiot, its even better to spend £35 today and reserve it, as the buying power of £35 will go down by the time it's released. Consider it an investment at a time of low interest rates lol. Not that it really matters since of course ME is coming out "early 2017" and definitely wont be delayed till 2022
Really though, I struggle to want to preorder AND pay for games so early, even if I do have the money to one side. I just think it's better under my own mattress haha.
If anyone wants to upgrade your internal drive to 2tb amazon are selling the seagate 2tb external drive for £60. Its easy to take out the drive from its casing and fit it into your PS4 just takes a few minutes. For some reason the internal drives are cheaper than the external. Argos are doing it for the same price.
@BAMozzy thats a good offer might have to get Battlefield 1 and another game, good spot
@kyleforrester87: There is a part of me that doesn't like pre-ordering 'standard' versions and paying upfront. However knowing the game is 'paid' for regardless of price fluctuations means that what ever my financial situation at the time of release makes no difference, the game will still be on its way...
@dryrain: I thought about Battlefield but Dice don't have a good track record with releases and Single Player campaigns either, Therefore I though I would wait to see how it turns out. I still think it looks like a 'reskinned' BF4 in a lot of ways and not overly keen on the setting - I also have CoD:IW (Legacy Pro Edition) and Titanfall 2 on pre-order so not short of FPS games...
A pessimist is just an optimist with experience!
Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??
Feel free to add me but please send a message so I know where you know me from...
Long story short, we went in to get another wheel today for the boy (ending up going with the T150RS @ €199, which I guess might not be a brilliant price but hey), and having been taken in for an extra year's warranty (only a fiver), the woman serving said she'd throw in a game. We expected some budget old rubbish, but got a copy of Assetto Corsa, sealed not a trade-in. It's on the receipt discounted too (49.95€), so she didn't fall for my 40-year old beer gut.
But you know, it might be worth a try wherever you are. *Especially if you're in Spain. The South of Spain.
Smyths have an offer on for £5 off pre-orders using the code PRE5. Free postage on orders over £30. Some good deals to be had and you can do seperate orders so you can use the code more than once.
