Im out tonight at a club pretty drunk, but i just wana say push square is the best place to have fun, talk bout games without hardcore fan boys. Just the best gaming site about to be honest.

I love Push Square, I just wish it were more active. Posting in the forums is pretty much worthless half the time.
Thats how I feel but I am sure it will pick up here in a few months probably after the holidays when people receive their shinny new PS4s. Still I dont think its worthless posting in the forums I still get answers to my questions and such sometimes I just have to wait longer for a response thats all.
Still I have to agree it is a great site and honestly can only see it getting better.

I also watch game sites when im going to the bar. Sometimes you are just interested in gaming news. That doesn't mean you don't enjoy the party
Sure there are replies, but it's practically stagnant compared to NL. I'll visit this site a week later and see the same posts without any replies. And how about that Killzone 3 clan that never happened?
@grenworthshero: I dont know they way NL is going I kinda enjoy the slow pace of Pushsquare right now. Most of those threads that are started on NL lately are either flamebait threads started by fanboys to start a fight or something, threads on how the Wii U is doomed and devolve into fights, or a bunch of threads of the same thing started by people to lazy to search for an ongoing thread.
Granted I wish this site was a bit more active especially when I come over here to escape the carnage at NL. Lately I can only tolerate the community over at NL in small doses where as this community seems to be much more mature and aren't looking for trouble like it seems most of the newer members are over at NL.

Is the fanboyism always so rife on NL? I keep considering joining in on there, but comment sections with regards to storys other than Nintendo ones are ridiculous. I read the post for the Ps4 outselling the WiiU news earlier and the article was well written considering the news but the comments were rife with fanboyism masquerading as pretentious snobbery. Being a multiplatform gamer, Id be flamed as soon as I mutter a word on NL from what Ive viewed so far tis a shame. Like you though, I prefer the slow pace and also the familiarity of regular posters here. Havent really been on here much lately tho due to the blog taking off a bit but I do like to check on the site regularly.
@greensworth The site will shortly take off we should just be patient and wait for something like the live chat I've been haunt @get2sammyb about comes to life. I just hope that someday Push Square doesn't get filled with fanboys instead of gamers and ends up like NL.

@MadchesterManc Yes, the fanboyism is always like that these days, that's why I rarely visit the site anymore. I used to be on NL hours a day a few years ago, but it's nothing but fanboys now. Which is kind of indicative of Nintendo's current situation. They're screwing things up so terrifically, pretty much all they have left are the fanboys.

Nintendo Life went down the pan when James Newton left, and when Corbie and Drake stopped being permanent fixtures.

While it was sad to see James go I can't really say that's when it went downhill. For me it seemed to go downhill when the Wii U launched and the numbers started to pour in sales wise and that. Then all of a sudden these doom and gloom threads started popping up and then the rabid fanboys started coming in to defend Nintendo. Almost trying to convince themselves that Nintendo isn't doing as bad as they are and that its cool to like Nintendo while dumping on the other companies. But then again what's happening to NL is generally what happens when you get as popular as they become in the last year or so.
Nowadays I just avoid most threads and just post in some of the threads that pertain to games that I play like for example the A Link Between Worlds thread.
