Topic: Soul Calibur 6 meet up, trophy hunting and chat

So I have been getting into SC6. It is pretty good, almost up there with SC2.

So the thread is for talking about Soul Calibur the series, gimp masks and all.

Also I am searching for a trophy hunting partner to mop up the online trophies. Any takers?

@themcnoisy I would if I had the game but even on sale for 40 it is a bit too much. I don't sink my teeth into fighting games as often. They are more pick up for a quick match then leave for a week or 2. Although SC has always been my favorite fighting series.

@Elodin It's great, the single player modes are meaty. I'm on my first run and it's taken me 12 hours so far. This is a fighting game bear in mind - 12 hours on one sp mode with one character.

That season pass clearly selling well I’ve just going up against 3 2B’s in a row. The best way to fight humans is to go on standby in arcade mode.

I have read the Eurogamer review post buying the game. Absolutely terribad review and the dudes clearly only played a couple of hours in career mode (although he bships about playing for 5... Yeah right). I can't believe a class game like SC6 is getting scored down for its career / single player mode. You can skip the dialogue and the loading (although annoying) is certainly not 30 seconds each time. Awful review of a fantastic fighting game. For me it beats out Smash bros, I may be in the minority but its a better game fundamentally.
