Anthem and Dirt Rally 2. Great combo to switch back and forth between.

Hitman and Tetris Effect. Pop off a level in Hitman, do some lines.

I read this a bit wrong initially. I was thinking 'steady on Noisy! I didn't realise you liked bald blokes that much.'

I've only played the first 30 mins or so before I went to bed. I find with these type of games come into their own after several hours of play, and then I either get overwhelmed my the size of the map and the amount of icons, or I get totally immersed in it and can't stop playing.

In prolog still of Kingdom Come Deliverance. No glitches yet. It is hard for me to play though knowing I have to pay for saves, at least early in the game. I need time to play a long stretch to make it worth my while.

Just started Nier - I am loving the combat and the music! The colours are a bit too drab for my taste but aside from that I am very eager to play more 😀

Spider-Cop

I am currently playing Batman Arkham Asylum from the Return to Arkham collection. It's fun, but definitely feels like a ten year old game. I kinda wish I played this before Spider-Man... oh well. I'll see these games through, because I love Batman.

Just finished Pillars of Eternity, started Kingdom Come Deliverance and loving it.

@RogerRoger @Kidfried Mark Hammil's performance edges it for me, but Heath Ledger is a very close second.

Plus this give me an excuse to dig this clip out.

Hamill will always be "my" Joker, but Ledger's performance was an original and incredible take on the character.

In general, I'm not a huge superhero movie fan (I especially find the overblown Marvel stuff to be tiresome), but The Dark Knight is easily one of my favorite films of all time.

It's cinematic marmite, though. I have a friend who can't stand the film.

I started Nioh this afternoon. I've only played it for an hour or so, but it seems very enjoyable. At first I thought it was like some sort of missing link between Dark Souls and Bloodborne, but unless I'm imagining things, I think it's faster even than BB.

I like the cut of the main character's jib.

Good job, Parappa. You can go on to the next stage now.

Thrillho

@Gremio108 It's a great game and I thought the combat system with the different stances was quite unique. The levels are pretty good on the whole except for the obligatory poisonous sewer level.

The only down thing is that the enemy types can get a bit repetitive but overall I really enjoyed it.

@Thrillho Well I've only done the Tower of London level, but I explored it thoroughly and had a good time doing so. The combat is a lot of fun.

I'm looking forward to the poisonous sewer already.

Good job, Parappa. You can go on to the next stage now.

@Kidfried It's Sekiro soon as well, so you won't have to wait long for your next hit. That's partly why I'm playing Nioh now - get it out of the way before Sekiro, otherwise I'm worried I'll never bother with it. It's been lent to me, so there's the added pressure that I have to see it through.

Also, I wanted a protagonist who moves a little quicker than Arthur Morgan. I figured the only way to follow Red Dead II was to go to the other end of the scale, you know?

Good job, Parappa. You can go on to the next stage now.

@Gremio108 @Kidfried We’ve got Code Vein coming at some point as well. I really am curious about the whole anime-Soulsborne mixture that it appears to have. It was supposed to come out last autumn and apparently is permanently delayed with no release date announced. Not a good sign.

@Kidfried I thought it was only OK. And I don't think I ever got to all the zombies.

@RogerRoger @Kidfried Ah yes the Baba Yaga DLC was probably my favourite part of the game. Very atmospheric!

@Kidfried @JohnnyShoulder @RogerRoger Yeah, as a fan of Lara Croft, I liked the first Croft Manor part but not the survival zombie part. Baba Yaga was pretty decent though.

I randomly decided to play Transistor for the first time yesterday. I didn’t feel like going back to complete trophies on completed games and I didn’t feel like starting up a new larger game yet. So I went into my medium length game backlog and pulled out Transistor. Someone (sorry, I forget who) had been talking about it lately somewhere here on the forums and I’d heard positive things about it.
I’ve played about 2-3 hours and it’s better than I expected. I like the gameplay. The battle system is a nice change of pace. Both active and strategic. The combinations of abilities that are possible is very deep for a game of this ilk. The character Red seems pretty cool and the music is wonderful so far. The talking Transistor is a wee-bit annoying to me though. Something about his voice and the way he carries on commenting on every little thing is just grating to my nerves.
The story is fairly cryptic and a little bit hard for me to follow. I don’t feel inclined to learn much about the world or feel very invested in it, despite the artistic design and use of color being top shelf stuff.
Overall I like it. I barely beat the first boss, so hopefully it doesn’t get too difficult.

@Th3solution Glad you are enjoying Transistor, it took me by surprise on how much I enjoyed as their previous game Basiton I never clicked with it.

It does get more difficult but I never felt too frustrated by it. At first the battle system totally confused me, but pretty soon was getting into the habit of swapping out abilities and see which combinations worked best for different types of enemies.

I loved the soundtrack too, you can get it on Spotify if you subscribe and are that way inclined.
