Recently bought the physical disc version of Hyper Light Drifter from Iam8bit. I checked their address after receiving the package. I never noticed I work 5 minutes away from Iam8bit! Gonna have to visit some day.

@SilentJ brilliant. You should knock and see if any positions are open!

I've just digitally preordered Nex Machina for £12.49 in the sale. I've never digitally pre-ordered before and the countdown timer is pretty cool. I also had to look twice as that is crazy cheap.

Next up was coffin dodgers, it was £2.50 or something silly and it was mentioned on the podcast recently so picked that up too.

I'm in 2 minds to purchase Wipeout omega now as I thought it was early May for some reason. In June and July I tend to get busier with work and won't have much time to game so that's a bit of a bummer.

Dragon Age: Inquisition deluxe edition for £3 of the PS store! At that price how could I not, dk when I'll ever get around to playing it though but it does look decent.

To support Capcom's sales figures I eventually chose Resident Evil 7 over Nier, mainly because of length and I want to have a bash in VR. Dropped lots of hints to my wife about Nier though as a future present as I want to get that as an imminent purchase. The demo, as suggested to me on here, was ace.

@kyleforrester87 Thanks, I will probably do a first playthrough without VR and then second with VR, primarily because I can't afford to buy a new pair of pants after each gaming session. I learnt my lesson on that one with Rush of blood.

@Rudy_Manchego Might be worth making the second run a "madhouse" difficulty one. I've not done that yet as my copy is still with a friend but apparently it mixes a lot of stuff up.

I reckon I'll find is scarier than my first run actually. When the familiar is mixed up it really freaks me out. I struggle playing the Re1 directors cut and Re1 remake because of that lol.

i just brought Battlefront on the PSN sale, it's not as bad as people was saying it was and in my opinion while short no features it creates a solid foundation for the second game

So I picked up a retail copy of Little Nightmares on Saturday, I figured it might be quite a rare game to find at retail later on down the line, so I snapped it up for the collection. I ended up playing it as I wanted a breather from Persona 5 and all I can say is wow, what a great experience. Word of warning though, it is an extremely brief experience, cool as it gets, but short.

Also bought the physical copy of Little Nightmares - actually had it preordered for a while. Only a small way into it but I love the vibe of it already. Very Inside-like. I'm not too worried about it being short as long as it delivers. Looking forward to Sammy's review of it soon.

Other than that I recently picked up Coffin Dodgers for just a few quid in the last digital sale. Again haven't played that much of it yet but it seems fun enough. The controls aren't quite as tight as I'd hoped but I seem to be getting more used to it as I progress.

Well, I bought a bunch of Vita games in the recent sale, but I also got a nice Persona 5 theme for my PS4. Now a lovely velvet room theme greets me every time I boot up the system.

Currently Playing: Fields of Mistria (PC); Cookie Clicker (PC); Metaphor: ReFantazio (PC); Overboard! (PC)

I got NieR: Automata. Let's hope it's as good as people say it is.

I dob't know if this counts but it is Sony material, i just bought a ps vita online, and 2 games that haven't arrived yet, uncharted gold and world of final fantasy, having a vita with no games for now makes me play all those titles that i have from previous PlayStation plus offers 😂 and remote play my ps4 of course! Love playing ps4 anywhere in my house 😆

Harvest Moon Save the Homeland. This was the game that got me hooked on the series, prior to that a played a bit of the SNES one but this was the one I sunk the most time in. Granted I know alot of people consider this a weak entry into the series, as it doesn't have relationships or kids like some of the others but this one always holds a special place for me. Glad to own it once again since I stupidly sold my PS2 copy years ago.

I just picked up, Risk of Rain, What Remains of Edith Finch, Super Rude Bear Resurrection, A Boy and his Blob, One Upon Light and LocoRoco. Why, I do not know! It seemed a good idea a few hours ago when i was sat at my desk at work bored out of my mind.

ApostateMage

I've just bought Assassin's Creed Syndicate for a measly £8 so I won't be too disappointed if I don't get into it.

@ApostateMage I actually found that one to be very good, probably in my top 3 AC games that came out after AC II. It didn't have the bugs like Unity did the time period was alot of fun and having the ability to switch characters like GTA V, was a very nice touch to the series.

I am a fairly new owner of the PS4 Pro. Originally, I only had the Wii U. I wasn't able to find a Switch, so I decided it was time to pick up the PS4 and perhaps invest in PS4 VR once there were some nice VR games to get.

I am already building a huge backlog of PS4 games from PSN sales and raiding bargain bins at the big box stores - like many of us here, I enjoy the acquiring even though I don't have time to play everything to completion.

Most recently, I got Galak-Z, Crypt of the Necrodancer, Chronicles of Teddy: Harmony of Exidus, Abzu, Jack the Ripper DLC for AC Syndicate and Everybody's going to the Rapture. I am interested in Butcher, but was able to hold out.
