Topic: Your Latest PS4 Purchase

@KratosMD Been thinking of getting it myself as well, but with me just picking up Super Mario Odyssey and then CoD: WWII here in a few days I don't know when I would have the time to play it.

Just pre-ordered HZD DLC. Given the quality of the first game and the minor price promotion, thought it was worthy of a pre-order. Comes out on the 7th but not sure if I'll get to it in time - I have been neglecting Wolfenstein 2 to play Super Mario Odyssey. Might try and power through my first Wolfenstein play through to make some room.

Call of Duty: WWII — This is the game I was most hyped for this year, still though with great games like Mario Odyssey, MLB The Show 17, Shadows of War and now CoD: WWII it's going to be hard for me to choose my top game this year.

Just got Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus. One word: A W E S O M E!!!!
I chose this one over Call of Duty WW2, and I think I made a great choice.

At the behest of its vocal fan base around here, I bought Nier Automata. Now just to find the time to play it.

@kyleforrester87 Yes, in addition to reading the comments on the forum here and elsewhere, I went back and read @get2sammyb ‘s review and got pretty excited about it. The review painted a very intriguing picture. Plus, I’ve been on here talking about wanting to support single player, medium length, non-service based games that have good stories. Well, i figure it’s time to put my money where my mouth is. Even if I end up hating the game, i still support the concept of keeping these kind of games coming.

@Th3solution good stuff!! Maybe you'll enjoy it, maybe you won't. I don't think it's something everyone will love. I did, but I don't want to overhype it either. Either way, it's certainly worth the three play throughs so don't stop after the first if you make it to the credits.

And 2B is such a cool character!

Just picked up Divinity to play whilst I'm moving house. So far I've just been talking to rats. It's great.

I bought Assassin's Creed Origins earlier while I was in Sainsbury's. It was cheaper than Amazon. Really looking forward to starting it after I finish Uncharted 4!

Bought the Frozen Wilds DLC for Horizon Zero Dawn yesterday. My last save was from 3/22 so it took a little bit of running around to remember how to do everything. Anyone know when they made it where you could change the way Aloy poses in photo mode? I saw that option and was like whaaaat? Then spent the next 20 minutes messing with that. 😂

Well the PSN Black Friday Sale got me. I picked up, Horizon Zero Dawn, Injustice 2, and Yakuza 0 and the other Yakuza.

Been wanting to try the Yakuza series for years now but they were so expensive on PS2. And the price they are now I couldn't say no to them. Horizon I wanted to check out but with it releasing so close to Breathe of the Wild I had to pass on it but I figured it would have been on sale for Black Friday. Same with Injustice 2 with it releasing so close to Tekken 7 I had to wait for Black Friday to pick it up.

@Tasuki I was eyeing some of the same. Injustice 2 looks good, although I don’t play many fighters, but at that price...
And I already picked up Yakuza 0 recently and added to my backlog and wish I had waited. Might pick up Kiwami now though.
And I already have HZD from day 1. It’d be nice if Frozen Wilds went on sale.

@Th3solution Yeah I don't play to many fighters either, mainly just play them for the single player story mode. Playing them against friends can be fun too but gets repetitive after awhile and I won't play online cause I know I would get my but kicked. Which is one reason I waited too, no point in me spending $60 on a game that I wasn't going to play alot.
