@Bentleyma- Quite fair i thought. A couple of sections were a bit tricky but nothing too taxing.

Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

@colonelkilgore It’s been so long since I played either now but the gameplay isn’t vastly different but is improved from 1 to 2 but, like I say, the first game had an interesting plot while the second was just “go here and clear this region”.

The snowy New York landscape in the first game is pretty bleak and a classic of the “grey and brown urban” palate whereas Washington in the sun was a slightly more varied setting.

I played most almost exclusively solo.

@Thrillho Unusual that they changed tac so much between games... and interesting that for the most part the general audience has reacted so much more positive about the thinly-plotted sequel than the first game that had a strong narrative. I’ll play Division 2 in co-op as a good friend of mine suggested we get it and play it together. If I enjoy it... and if the servers are still operational by then maybe we’ll play the first one too one day.

Also, off the Division topic... i finally bought The Last of Us 2. Have been waiting on that and Ghost of Tsushima to come down in price (as I have more than enough in my backlog than to warrant paying full price for something that will sit on the shelf for a year or two). Got it for £24 but still no sign of GoT being reduced.

@colonelkilgore GoT is £30 in the PSN sale at the moment, the lowest price so far. Ends today though!

@Thrillho cheers bud, I want it physical though in all honesty. It’s fine though I’m in no particular rush as I don’t know when I’d be able to fit it in anyway.

TraCuz-

Not really a purchase but I recently got into the free trial of Final Fantasy 14. This was a game I looked at for a while and kept thinking this just isn't for me. But now 2 weeks in, I'm loving it. Not really sure why but it's hitting all the right notes at the moment. I love the feeling of being immersed and this game has it in spades.

Currently Playing:

Rainbow 6: Siege, Kingdom Hearts 2 (1st time), Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen

@MaulTsir I don't have a tesco club card but that is about the best reason I've ever heard to get one. Cheers for the info.

@nomither6 I bought a nacon pro controller about 4 years ago... one of the best purchases of last generation for me. Can’t wait for them to do a PS5 one.

@TheBrandedSwordsman well it’s a love it or hate it kinda thing... as long as your expectations in terms of narrative are low you should be fine.

@TheBrandedSwordsman As the Colonel says, the story is nonsense but keeps thing moving but it’s a proper sandbox game with quite a lot of freedom to do what you want. Hopefully you like it!

Trials of Mana. Was pretty impossible to ignore physically at $20.

We'll see how it turns out.

Currently Playing: Fields of Mistria (PC); Cookie Clicker (PC); Metaphor: ReFantazio (PC); Overboard! (PC)
