@LiamCroft That's okay I'm not in any rush to get it. It will probably be for the best to hear how it fully plays with the day one patch. Greatly appreciate the reply, I'll keep an eye out for the review in the future.

@BearsEatBeets No worries, I've heard good things about the game and am looking forward to checking it out also

I’m playing a bit of Aliens: Fireteam Elite at the moment, it’s kinda hard on normal difficulty though. Maybe that’s because I am playing solo with bot helpers. I’m quite enjoying it but I don’t know, maybe the swarms could be toned down a little bit (had about 50 aliens in a small room with me the other day).

I think I can and should crank the difficulty down a touch.

@LiamCroft Also looking forward to that review. Would be nice to know if it really leans into the Alien brand!

@BearsEatBeets I just watched that review, it does look pretty nice huh. My worry is if I don’t get it at launch, it gets kicked into the grass. But equally I don’t fancy losing 1 hour+ of progress due to bugs sooo.. may be one to wait for patches on. Hmmm.

@kyleforrester87 yeah I'm eager to give the developer the support of my money but need a better idea of it's functional state. Maybe we'll have to keep giving Liam nudges to get it finished and reviewed. I hear sleep is greatly overrated.

@BearsEatBeets yeah that’s the other thing, happy to support even remotely good Alien games. After Isolation not getting a sequel you can’t take anything for granted.

@kyleforrester87 I was under the impression that it is a solo game, no coop so your helpers will always be bots. Perhaps I'm wrong.
It does look good though, perhaps a little too tense for me.....I will be screaming "game over man" before I even deploy a turret or sentry gun.

@CaptD no, it’s more fun (and a little easier, I think?) as a co-op experience, as far as I am aware. That is Fireteam I am talking about, though, not the new Dark Descent, just to be clear.

@kyleforrester87 Oh right, I got the games mixed up. You wait years for an Alien game and then two turn up (almost) at once.

@kyleforrester87 yeah the price makes me more eager to give them my money. I loved Isolation despite not usually liking that sort of game and quite surprised it didn't earn a follow up. Despite it not looking like anything special I brought 2 copies of Fireteam when it went cheap and sent a copy to my brother so it could be something for us to play together online. After doing the first couple of missions we decided to not play it separately to keep our characters the same level but we've now gone months without getting back together on it. Hopefully we manage to get back into the swing of it otherwise I might just play it solo after all.

this weekend yesterday, i was at a cell phone repair shop that also was selling old videogames from NES to some junky Wii games along with copies of Playstation 4 games that consisted of multiple copies of Destiny 2 and some Madden NFL game with Tom Brady on the front cover.

Just wondering if Destiny 2 is any good such as the main story?

I used to have only Destiny 1 for my Playstation a couple of years ago and the game's story was alright even though it felt like an over the top sci fi version of Killzone

Batman Return to Arkham for about 9$ on PSN. Very glad for the purchase

I ordered the physical version of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series. I own Episode 1 and 2, but the game was de-listed, so I can’t buy the remaining episodes.

Untitled

According to the Cex website the disc only includes the first episode, but I’ve seen people say that it allows you to download all five. It only cost me £8, so I figured I’d give it a shot.

I've been on a binge these last few weeks.

Started by buying the Metro Exodus complete edition on sale, then Crysis remastered trilogy, Evil West, then Cyberpunk, Nier Automata Terminator Resistance Enhanced (plus DLC), Cloudpunk and finally Return to Arkham and the Witcher 3!

I have a Series X too but decided to have my PS5 as my main console.....I find it quite hard to work with 2 consoles strangely and actually prefer only having one.

@Walrus_Slapper Some great games there!

What do you think you enjoyed the most out of all them?

Well, Crysis is good but a bit janky and annoying too - hoping the second and third are a bit better!

Ive played Witcher and Metro Exodus before on PS4 but its good to play them again and with PS5 upgrades too!
Have played the Batmans before as well but on my old 360.

Struggling to get into Cyberpunk though honestly which surprised me.

Havent actually tried the rest yet haha

@Walrus_Slapper You’re in for a treat with Nier Automata. One of my favorites from last gen. I have to agree with you on Cyberpunk though, I finally gave up on it.
