Finally finished the excellent Commander Niall fight at stupid o'clock this morning which gives me access to the medallion half to open the final section of my map. Looking forward to exploring that region and then returning to (what I assume is) the "point of no return" bonfire and pushing on to the end - hopefully this weekend. "Returnal" is probably next for me - very exciting!
@JohnnyShoulder There should be a trophy attached to dying wearing it.
So during the Irina quest line I ended up killing her father. He seemed shady & towards the end I think he said something like ‘my work is done- I’m going to take care of her’. I took him out & he dropped a pretty good halberd that was +8.
Any other NPCs that drop interesting loot? I might just go on a murder spree & take everyone out😅.
Beat Godrick. He wasn’t too bad. Beat him on my second try, but I might have been over-levelled (lv41).
The enemy I had a surprisingly difficult time with was Adnan The Thief. Doesn’t look intimidating but sure hits hard.
I’m thinking about levelling a secondary weapon right now & leaning towards the bloodhound fang. Anyone tried it?
My only issue is that I already main a slash weapon (axe), but the range with the fang is nice.

The crowd, accepting this immediately, assumed the anti-Eurasian posters and banners everywhere were the result of acts of sabotage by agents of Goldstein and ripped them from the walls.
@velio84 I think I explored Caelid for about an hour or two in total. I never really felt the right level for it, stuff murdered me until very late game and by that point I was ready to move on. The giant dragon and the gargoyle outside Bestial Sanctum were some of the last things I did.
@velio84 Massive white one. Still died a few times at roughly level 140.
LOL the white dragon can’t move so I went to it’s back knee and just stood there hitting it. Kept waiting for it to even try to attack me. Honestly could do this at lvl 1 if you could get there, and not even risky.
@velio84 I am actually headed to the Caelid Divine Tower next... (activate Great Rune of Radahn)
How rough is the boss? And what level are you? Debating whether to swerve and come back, especially as the jumping-down elements in this tower are quite tedious...
I'm currently lv74, doing OK but still having challenging moments (plus my Hoarfrost Stomp just got nerfed as I understand it ha!)
Hi everyone, Sorry I haven't been around, but hey, thats just two days worth of updates for you, I will write that out later.
But today, I ended up editing my character again for like a hour, and I think they look much, much better then before, but golly this system is hard LOL.
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!

So...I joined the witch. Not sure if that will lock me out of certain quests, but she gave me a gift early and I thought I would repay the kindness. Although what she said has me curious on her motives.
@velio84 Just did him after about 20 tries... he hits like a truck, and I don't think my melee/DEX build was helping ha! Good boss though, enjoyed him
Wow well done on Radahn... my steepest learning curve so far for sure. Although now I've beaten him I can appreciate what FS were trying to do with this battle.
You should definitely backtrack to the Caelid divine tower, because this is where you activate the rune from Radahn... might as well nail that boss in the basement while you're there mate!
This game just gets better and better the further I progress. After getting transported deep underground into a pretty tough area all things considered... I finally made it top side after felling Astel Naturalborn of the void. Cool fight too!
I got abducted to Volcano Manor lol. How very Bloodborne. The duo you fight in the boss room are a couple of *****. I'm having to cheese them slightly with them being so aggressive. There is a rock formation you can jump up to, so I can poke them with my shield up. Some of their attacks can still hit, but most of them miss. And you can fall of the rocks too, which is always fun.
@JohnnyShoulder I’ve seen a couple of people mention this but I honestly didn’t run into that abduction or those bosses at all. I joined Volcano Manor before doing the castle because I explored all the way up Mt Gelmir 😂
