@amenohi I like to fully explore areas before moving on. I’m 120 hours in, level 117 and just finished volcano manor and explored Atlus plateau. I’ve done all of caelid, including the north part (dragonbarrow) which was way above my level at the time. I know I stop and smell the roses, so I’m a little over-levelled and sites like HLTB always show much less time to finish a game. Still, if you’ve played 30 hours and gotten to far into the game you could be relatively underlevelled.

@Mega-Gazz It's just my luck that they've nerfed the mimic ash summon when I've just gotten to a boss that's going to be very difficult to beat without it at full strength. Curses!

It was a badly needed nerf.

@Mega-Gazz Yeah. I mentioned further up the topic that I thought some of the ash summons were OP - this being one of them. I'm just grumpy because I'm on an absolute heel of a boss!

@Mega-Gazz Never on a first playthrough. I think I'm quite near the end, too.

@CJD87 yes the big bosses I took out are godrick and Academy boss. Thanks for pointing me in a good direction where to go next. I went there way to early when just exploring. Now for some payback.

@JohnnyShoulder way to go on dragon hunting!

I'm not sure if I missed it last time as I was only there once, but the portal to the zone where you can kill some enemies for 1k runes each now has a huge enemy right when you port in. You have to be much more sneaky to get the runes.

@Elodin Ah no that sounds like my favourite farming spot. Is it the one next to the bridge with the dragon on it over to the east?

render

Elodin

@render not exactly sure as i was only there once before. its called the beastial sanctum in Caleid. I guess it makes sense to protect it as the one time I was there level 20ish I think, I was able to sneak around and take the wanderers with unsheathe to stagger. I left with 18k runes in about 10 min.

@Elodin Pretty sure it has always been there. I've not taken it on yet, just sneaked past it every time.

@Elodin It's always been there - there is another site of grace out the building and down the hill by the bridge. Make a run for it and do your grinding from that spot instead.

@JohnnyShoulder @kyleforrester87 @Elodin Yes you're right the spot that you teleport into isn't the spot where the site of grace is by the bridge. I'd forgotten that when I'd first got there it was actually at the top by the big doors and I then made my way round that guy and opened up the bit south of that. I did take him on just to see how much damage I could do and how hard it hits and he pretty much one-shotted me so that was nice 😆

@velio84
Hi man. Thats cool. I just thought it was useful you see Ranni there before going on.
Same there’s another dragon north which got away half health too. 🤷🏼‍♂️

The crowd, accepting this immediately, assumed the anti-Eurasian posters and banners everywhere were the result of acts of sabotage by agents of Goldstein and ripped them from the walls.

It’s like you go see wolf man and he tells you to see the other guy and the other guy tells you to see the other guy etc
Haha

@velio84 so I just ended up in an area… and it turns out I’m looking down on Soufra River. My mind was blown when I realised 🤯

@render Wow, it does more damage too? Does the claws need to be done like this as well? or do you get two claws by default?

OK, sooo... this is a bit random

Last thing I did last night before logging off, was I paid a vist to Gurranq, the Beast Clergyman, to give him a Death Root I had in my inventory.

Started playing today, and obviously I started next to him, and for some reason he went absolutely mental and started attacking. Anyone have any idea what I did to piss him off?

@danlk1ng If you hit him a few times he calms down. Scared the sh*t out of me!

JohnnyShoulder

@danlk1ng Yeah that happens after you give him a certain number of deathroot. Like Ness said, whack him a few times and he will calm down.

@lolwhatno Its alright, I'm just not sure if I should invest my upgrades in that, over stuff like heath and attack, does the load go up by much when you level? Because I have leveled a few times but im not really feeling it.

When you go to level up it shows you how much of a difference it makes to the stats. So Endurance will improve your Stamina and Equip Load (and maybe a couple more, but don't remember) . Depending on how heavy your gear is, you may have to increase it more to notice any difference.
