@Fight_Teza_Fight Sorry, I’m getting them mixed up now. I’m pretty sure the one you are on I didn’t have a problem with but that might be down to the build. For ashes I switched from the wolves to using Greatshield Soldier Ashes so you might have some luck if you’ve got that. I find that on certain fights because there’s more of them they seem to fair better.
I've tried to play previous FS games like Bloodborne, Demon Souls etc and have always found them off putting because of a lack of time and repeating and dying... But I swore I would give Elden Ring more of a chance because the accessibility and entrance to noobs is a bit more forgiving.
I have actually got further than any other FS game so far, I love it although i'm confused about what the hell all these weird things I keep picking up are but i'm sure i'll wing it.
I haven't got very far really, i've done a few farming bits where i can. I've got a game time of nearly 15 hours and just got Level 30. Just wanted to ask you guys and gals, if that was a pretty reasonable score for a noob? I've also got a screenshot of my stats which i don't know much about, do they look okay, do I need to focus on increasing anything for later?
Can't think of anything good to put here just yet, watch this space...
@Throb The only thing I say is that sooner or later you will want to level two or three Attributes, instead of spreading them so evenly. Vigor is always a good as that will give you more health, which you will need for later. Endurance is another one as that will give you more stamina so you can attack and evade more. The others will depend on which weapons and armour you like to use the most.

I just took down General Radahn, or more accurately my army and I took him down!! Huzzah for the festival. He has a crazy moveset and at times looks so imposing. Other times though him wheeling around on his undersized horse is sheer comedy. Have to say I've not been too keen on Caelid overall, my definitely enjoyed exploring less than in other areas.
I didn’t like Caelid much at first, but after thoroughly exploring it I found it had grown on me a lot. At the very least, it makes going to other areas more enjoyable.
@R1spam I dreaded that boss but beat it in a couple of goes without summoning! I was high level though, like 95, and had some really heavy armour, a levelled up great shield and 12 healing flasks. I’m hoping the tactic of just being really high level can get me to the credits lol.
@kyleforrester87 have you ever tried to kill Gowry before ending Millicent’s quest? It turns out he’s a pest/bug/thing and when you reload the area he’s back - or some other one in the human disguise - and asks you to forget it ever happened…and continues the quest
Bye bye Malenia Rotty B**ch. For 3 hours I died repeatedly but had one good run and made it a walk in the park. Just using the same gear as before but respecced to increase FP and reduce HP and swapped a few talismans.
Feels good and hopefully I’m on the home stretch now (don’t tell me if I’m not as I’ll only cry 😂).
@render well done dude, took me around 3 hours too… at many points during which I questioned whether I’d ever actually make it through. Crazy boss design… but doable in the end I guess
@colonelkilgore Cheers man 🍻. Yeah really odd design as there’s several moves that can end you in one shot if you haven’t got the HP.
I’m rolling so don’t know if it’s any different with a shield but the never ending swording combo she does in that first phase was just brutally impossible to judge. Couple that with what seemed like two really harsh flying moves + rot in the second and it seemed like it was weighted very much against the player.
I honestly thought the same as you and had totally written off my chances. Glad I persevered now 😅
Having done just about everything else possible in Liurnia, I think it's time for me to actually go into Raya Lucaria now
I spent quite a long time down in Ainsel River and the Dragonkin Soldier boss gave me more grief than any boss so far. The successful run was the first one where I decided to try fighting without using lock on which sometimes seems to hinder you when trying to defeat these huge beasties.
I just found the Four Belfries and used the key to go back to the opening area and defeat that boss too.
@kyleforrester87 I was level 59 but I summoned a genuine army of npcs. Tbh,it was one of the most interesting things I've seen so far in that feeling of being part of a legitimate squad taking out a boss. At my level, even getting to him was like charge of the light brigade! One of his magic hits was over half health. @Velio84 after the Radahn fight, I'm going to explore it a bit more but glad to hear things pick up again after moving on
@Thrillho I did those sections on the weekend too! I might be a bit over levelled, but didn't find Dragonskin too bad after I figured out what Spirit Ash to use. I also changed to a weapon which had a longer reach, which also helped.
I quite like the area before him though, as the enemies felt a bit different. Initially my Uchigatana wasn't doing a great deal of damage against those slow moving rolling enemies. So I swapped out to my Nightrider Flail which was loads better.

@velio84 Cheers 👍. I'm sure you did a better quicker job but I feel good to have got it done. I've been trying my best to stay guide free but last night after beating Malenia and having already got to a point where I'd had a prompt from an NPC asking if I was ready to do something I just thought stuff it I'll see what I've got left trophies wise. I'd done quite well in terms of collecting items for the legendary ones so I tidied a few of those up last night, and that included that missable item in the capital but thanks for flagging it up 😉
I haven't read what's ahead though so still got that to look forward to. It sounds like there's still plenty of action.
@velio84 I don't know if there's more than one way to trigger it but it unlocked for me by starting with Ranni's and then from there following Blaidd's quest line.
@velio84 having just done it, I was the same as render. Alexander was also there and had freed him and opened a door in Gael tunnel to get him to Caelid.
