@KilloWertz Haha they aren't pooping they dig up scrap. There is a salvage contract relating to that very thing. Kind of like pigs sniffing out truffles!
I have repaired one or two that were damaged in a fight. Otherwise I just put them out of their misery with a critical strike.
@MightyDemon82 Obviously I haven't done that salvage contract yet. I knew machines can't poop, but how it ended up appearing since I have yet to do any salvage contracts since near the beginning of the game.
I guess I'm just lazy and don't want to go and find another to override as I've had the same mount for probably a week now. Like I said, there's an abundant supply of Shards in the game from picking it up off of bodies and tons of things you pick up to sell.

@KilloWertz I mean... Plowhorns launch fertilizer pods from their body so it's kinda like pooping? lol
Except they send it flying IIRC (also Widemaws do something similar)
@KilloWertz@Voltan wide maws do a similar thing to pooping. That's awesome That you've kept the same mount killo for a week. Mine are very rarely saveable after some hectic battles.
Edit @voltan never noticed you added about the wide maws.
@KilloWertz@MightyDemon82 I grew an attachment to one of the Fire Bristlebacks that I overrode, so much so that I ended up naming it Brian. I must have spent a hell of a lot of shards fixing him as he was a pretty angry guy. It was my fault for making him aggressive but he just spent a lot of time smashing up and thing that moved π
@MightyDemon82 I was getting annoyed having my mounts get killed if there were too many machines around, or if I had to keep going through the Barren Light over and over to travel anywhere earlier on in the game since there was no way around it. So I try to "park" my mount away from where I'm going to end up fighting (unless it's just one machine) since even two machines seem to be able to take down a Fire Bristleback somehow.
@render Was your's green? Did Aloy yell out "Hulk Smash" anytime you were entering a battle? Or maybe it was orange and you yelled out "It's Clobbering Time!"?
@Splat Same here, although I do end up doing one here and there if it's something that's way under my current level. That way I know there will still be plenty left, but I still get to experience bits of it every so often.

@Splat same here 75 hours in and loving every second. Was just exploring tonight and was ambushed by 3 ravagers. So that was fun, met a new lady to help her with Scavenge contracts. But best of all I did something for Kotallo, please tell me all the people who rushed through the game at least did this one
Very excited to see the results later in the game π
@KilloWertz it would be cool if you could power them down or put them in standby. That way you could safely leave it hidden somewhere and not worry about it being damaged/destroyed in battle.
@KilloWertz π perhaps I should have called him Bruce!
Great to hear you guys are all enjoying it still. Itβs a great game and an amazing world Guerrilla have built. Iβll be interested to hear what you all think of the story once you finish but no rush π
@MightyDemon82 Yeah, not a bad idea. Ironically enough, I lost my mount earlier tonight after I posted that. I guess I was too far away from it for too long while doing a quest and I can't call it anymore. It was nice knowing you, Bruce.
@render Since you didn't call your's Bruce, I'll call mine Bruce. Well, I suppose Bruce II since I lost Bruce earlier. I guess he got bored waiting on me. Actually, on second thought, he doesn't deserve the name Bruce, so the next one will just be Bruce instead.
I finally finished the game last night and despite initially really enjoying it, I thought it all ended a bit flat. I'm a little disappointed in it to be honest. The story, despite a couple of interesting moments, never really gripped me and I thought all of the main antagonists were very forgettable. And I must say, I grew a little tired of Aloy in the end, never thought I'd ever say that.
Alva, Kotallo and Morlund were pretty cool, though.
@ApostateMage The story really does seem to have split people. I personally thought it as great, and as a follow up couldn't have asked for more. Some of the new characters worked well and added some personality to things and it also felt like it had got a good flow to it even though I'd taken a lot of time out between furthering the story to do side quests. I can appreciate that not everyone will feel the same way though but hopefully you got something out of playing the game.
