Ooooook, so I’m watching the credits roll (it’s a nice sequence with great music) and here’s a question to those who beat the game… was that sequence from the SoP (with Erend being captured but smuggling some device in his boot, Aloy fighting a tremortusk on the beach) not in the game at all or did I somehow manage to miss it despite doing literally everything I could find? Or is it a post-game thing and I’ll regret typing this in 5 minutes?
@velio84 Google says it isn’t there. That’s… a little surprising tbh
Anyway, I’m leaving it at 92.92% completion. I’m also missing the last character bio but nobody seems to know what it is…
@RogerRoger Oh, I see - I actually found that one pretty challenging. Maybe because I decided to hunt for parts while at it - or I just didn’t equip the right weapon
Finally got the diving gear last night.
Wow that whole mission was fantastic, I love a good under water section, so this was right up my street. Cool new machine and the end result had me running around taking photos. Now to return to base and then back to all previously unaccessible water areas.
lol. Fought the bat machine, but it just froze in place and allowed me to whack at it until it died.
I've glitched through the floor, got stuck in places, found invisible objects, the map icons are still broken, I get black screens once in a while, the game crashed on me once, AI isn't working, NPCs stuck in places.
It's not just Firegleam that stays on the map, I've found metal flowers and underwater barriers that don't disappear after removing them either.
Also found a metal flower that lead to a small cavern with a climable 'chimney' of sorts. There's something way up in the cavern, but Aloy just can't reach it. It's so narrow and she keeps jumping between walls making it impossible to reach it. I've been trying for 5 minutes. This game is not just a mess, it's outright broken at times.
@Octane In a way, technically you're right since the first one released in really good shape overall as far as I know With that said, and I'm not saying you're making it all up because of course you aren't, I've only ever experienced the random black screen and the obviously the map icons not disappearing (or at least being marked as completed) for at least a few different things. I brought them up too as one of my few complaints along with Performance Mode having issues.
It's strange that there are people not having many issues at all, and then there's ones like you having a bunch of them. That's unfortunately the way it is with things like games and such. I've said this several times already, but I blame the fact that they have to work from home for games like this having more glitches and such than the usual rock solid PlayStation developers.
Despite the issues, this is still one of the best games of it's kind to come out in a very long time. The graphics and facial animations are ridiculously good, and GG's other accomplishments with it are still able to shine through.

@KilloWertz@Octane been playing for over 60 hours now and it's been pretty smooth, I guess Octane is one of the unlucky ones.
Just did some sidequests that I stumbled upon and wow. At 40% completion I'm really beginning to think this game stands above both Witcher 3 and RDR2 for me personally. Loved both of those but I hated how you couldn't stray from the path to do mission objectives in RDR2 and witcher 3's combat wasn't the greatest. Might be a little biased but I'm totally in love with the world Guerrilla have created here.
@colonelkilgore I'm looking forward to seeing where the story is going. I'm a huge sci-fi fan anyway so I'm quite happy to let Guerrilla take me on this gorgeous rollercoaster and I'm sure by the end I'll be itching for the 🤞 3rd entry.
@MightyDemon82 I'm horrible at remembering my "stats", so I couldn't tell you what % I'm at now (I think I'm Level 25 and at around 40 hours so far), but yeah, I guess they've been at least somewhat unlucky so far. Some people do some missions or whatever a different way as well, which could lead to a glitch others don't experience.
As for the comparison, I'd definitely put it ahead of RDR2 as I never finished that game. It was way too involving for me, having to worry about so many mundane things. I appreciate the fact that they wanted to make it so realistic, but there comes a time when you have to consider that it's a video game that's supposed to be fun as well. As for The Witcher 3, I highly enjoyed the game, but I'm also not one of the people that would consider it the greatest video game ever like a lot of people (at least before God of War). I was more attached to the characters than the actual game itself, evident by how excited I was for the Netflix show even though it wouldn't even be in my Top 10 games from last gen. So, in other words, I would agree that I would likely put this game ahead of both of them after I finish it many weeks from now. So far, from the first game to where I am now in Forbidden West, it's been a great ride. I love the fact that it's more of a sci-fi story as well.

Have crossed the 70 hour mark now at 45% completion. I have all the tools, so working my way back to the beginning of the map to do some exploring. Done a lot of excellent side stuff this weekend so far.
Ever since I've gotten the sunwing I've delayed the final mission(s) in favour of just taking in the sights and hunting for rare machine parts. I'm having a great time and I honestly think it's because it is peaceful and Aloy isn't telling me what to do all the time.
Like how you can you can jump into the sand twisters and ride them with the glider up into the air.
Braced Shot + either Power Shot or Ranged Master surge is little bit over powered.
@Voltan Yea that's not in the game, and was just for the demo, although if you go to the location you can still see the the path from the tremotusk with all the smashed trees
@RogerRoger Thanks I really don't want the game to end, so Aloy is super fit running/walking everywhere and using the ocassional mount and of course gliding from the tops of mountain summits.
The story is really interesting and can't wait to see where it goes, sidequests I've done have all been great and exploring everywhere in between. I've switched off the HUD completely as well, so it feels more natural running around and stumbling upon quests and random events in the world.
Edit: I forgot to add swimming as she's done entire lengths of lakes to get to some places.
@KilloWertz Fire Bristleback is one of my favourite machines to override. That headbutt move that they do is just killer and in aggressive mode they are insane 😆
@render Bristlebacks also seem to "poop" as there always seem to be things that randomly drop around them whenever I leave them close-by to go do something and then I come back to them.
They also have much more aggressive haptic feedback than some of the others. Obviously like they should since they are by far the biggest land mount.
@MightyDemon82 Very true. It's only a pain when you end up in a fight with several machines and then you try to kill them all before the mount dies. It'd also be a pain to have to pay to repair them, but you really should never have to run low on Shards, so that part isn't a big deal like it could have been if Shards weren't so plentiful.
