Topic: ps4 pro to ps5 pro - should i upgrade

I only really play cod so I'm wondering if its worth the upgrade from the 4 pro to the 5 pro. If I sell the 4 then it's probably going to cost me about £550 in total to upgrade, which is a lot. On the other hand, I'm buying something that I'll probably keep for the next 8 years or so. The only thing that annoys me about my ps4 pro is how loud the fan is other than that, it works great. On the other hand I've not played on a ps5 so I don't know how much better the new console would be over my current one.

At least upgrade to a PS5 for the SSD load times and future games being available, i'd say. But also try some other games while you're at it 🍻

PS5 is basically silent compared to the PS4 pro, too.

But then if you really are happy just playing one game it's maybe not worth it if it still works and wait until the PS4 breaks 🤷‍♂️

The PS5 is a major upgrade over the PS4 pro and therefore certainly worth getting. If money is no object, the PS5 pro is the best PS5.

Comparing PS5 to PS5 pro. For call of duty for PS5 pro will give you a slightly higher resolution or if you have 120 Hz screen will get you closer to 120. In the grand scheme of things minor upgrades at a significant cost.

What TV or monitor are you using? If you're only really getting it for CoD and your display isn't capable of running the game at 120 FPS, then you're better off with the PS5 Slim.

I have a 75" sony x90l which supports 120fps so would work well with the ps5 pro
