@Elodin This was when I was mopping up collectibles for the platinum and when I reached the end of the Citadel I figured I might as well fight Nemesis for the ether. Normally I wouldn't do much grinding - and it really didn't matter because I literally only got hit twice. The gun did matter but that's mostly luck, you don't need to clear whole biomes for that.
Edit: also I think I might've had an item that upgraded my max health when getting and clearing malfunctions or attaching and detaching parasites or something like that
@JohnnyShoulder So how long, as far as hours, was your final run through the last of Biome 6 to finish the game? Was it longer than 3-4 hours? Just trying to set my expectations.
@Elodin That’s interesting that your ‘take a break from the madness’ game is Battlefront 2. Mine has been 13 Sentinels. It’s soooo chill in comparison — Mostly visual novel and the tactical battles are just a fresh change of pace from running and shooting. 😅
@Voltan Yeah, I had that item which upgrades the integrity bar when you take on or clear malfunctions. It was great, but it made me play more aggressively with regard to taking chances on malfunctions and ultimately it resulted in my death. I chose to take a much more conservative approach with my long run to the boss last night and I think overall I do better when I avoid malignant items and chests.

@Elodin Oh, and as far as going through Biome 2, I find the open area at the beginning of B2 to be the easiest part of the game so far. Despite the lack of cover or escape points, the openness is much easier to manage and you rarely get surrounded like in the B1 rooms. Also, about half my damage usually comes from me dashing off a ledge into the abyss 😅, so it’s nice that you don’t have to worry about that in B2.
B3 on the other hand…. really annoying at how many times you’re on small platforms which drop into nothingness.
@Th3solution I wasn't really keeping track of how long it was taking for each run, and I wasn't doing it all in one go for the most part, as I was using rest mode and going back to it later, sometimes even the next day.
At a guess probably a couple of hours? That was a complete clear out of Biome 4, skipping Biome 5 (only going there for the fabricator if I had enough obolites) and beating the last boss in Biome 6 to finish Act 2. I've yet to beat Act 3 so not finished then game completely, but hopefully will this week.
Hi guys, after beating Hyperion and getting to biome 5, does the game recognise how many of the 3 keys you collected? I managed to get two of them before I died. Will that progress be saved, or do I need to collect all 3 again?
@kris0000 You will need to collect all 3 and unlock the door in one run, otherwise you lose any keys that you collected unfortunately. Once you've done that though the door will be permanently unlocked.
@velio84@render@JohnnyShoulder thanks for all of the tips! Hoping to defeat it soon, though I’m heading into the same boat as @Th3solution in that I’ll have less gaming time for the next bit but I feel better equipped now, thanks!

Beat biome 3! Died as I got one last shot off. Luckily I had an astronaut. Got a good lober and a decent amount of health. Tips here definitely help. Thanks all.
I’m surprised at the love for the lobber in here to be honest; I find it fairly useful but give me a decent Hollowseeker any day!
I booted the game up for a quick go today as I’m right at the end of Ghost but didn’t have enough time to commit to that so thought I’d have a quick blast. Managed to pick up the last cipher and couple of logs in biome 1 on my first run to get that trophy and have ended up putting the game into rest mode as I’m well into biome 3
(Sadly didn’t find a single log or cipher in biome 2)
Nemesis is defeated! Entered the fight with a level 6 lobber, max adrenaline, a resinous shield, shield vial, as well as 3 silphium vials. Pretty stoked. Thanks for all of the help in here!

@Jimmer-jammer Nice work, glad the advice was of some use 😀
@Thrillho Great stuff, you must be pleased with that. I knew you’d be back 😉. B2 was the one I had to spend the longest in to wrap the trophy up. It does seem to have a few rooms with really low odds of them turning up in it. I was definitely all for the hollowseeker at first and it’s still one of my go to weapons for B6, as long as it’s got portal beam, but the lobber is way more powerful in 1 - 3 when you have lower proficiency.
@Jimmer-jammer Right on, brother! Nice work!
So how many of your silphium vials did you have to burn through in the end? And how far did you have your second integrity bar extended?
Any specific tactic you used that seemed to help make the difference?
“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.”
@Th3solution thanks! So I had a run where I somehow managed to collect a lot of keys. I saved them and used them in the ‘climb’ up to Nemesis. In doing so, I was able to collect some useful artifacts, items and resins. I had an artifact that gave me a shield upon collecting any silphium resin, a consumable that maxed my adrenaline level and an artifact that reduced the amount of resin needed to increase integrity so that was also leveled up a fair amount. Really, I headed into the fight a right tank. I was able to maintain my adrenaline level through the first two phases between my resin shield and shield vial. In phase 3 I just did my best and used my silphium vials as needed. Honestly, I barely made it through. Lots of health and shields was basically the strategy that worked for me.
I actually sailed through B4 and the next boss (which is super cool but I found him to be a cakewalk compared to Nemesis) on the same run, then had my over-confidence completely shattered upon reaching B5. I am now taking a break for a bit 😬

@render Maybe I just didn’t use the weapon enough. It can be handy in biome 2 for the flying enemies to hit them once and then hide as it chips their health away. I used it in a fight against Phrike and I’m not sure I’d fancy using it against other bosses but people seem to do well with it!
@Jimmer-jammer It’s funny how I breezed through biome 3 and Nemesis first time but biome 4 became a bit of a roadblock for me. I have no idea why as going back to it for the fragment I had no problems. I do love that boss fight though
