I have no idea what I'll play after Elden Ring. I have a couple of games I've not finished which I can go back to, but it be whatever I feel like playing at the time.
We have schedules and stuff in work, so I like not to do too much of that out side of work. Especially with gaming, that should be fun and I can think of not many worse things than doing something keeping lists of games.
@Th3solution One of my problems with doing the every Resident Evil thing that I forgot to mention when it's actually kinda important is that I started Resident Evil Remake when it was on Plus years ago and I absolutely hated it. I used to love Resident Evil on PS1 but time has not been kind to it, and the Remake was made so close to the original that it hasn't helped.
BTW, I got the platinum in Ghost of Tsushima PS5 and now I'm up to Makoto's dungeon on Persona 5 Royal. I feel like that's about... 25% of the way through the game from memory? I don't know. I have Resident Evil 0 downloaded. I feel like I'm on schmedule.
My only game schedule for 2022 is to finish the two games i am now playing, RE3 and AC Origins. After that i have my eyes on TT Wonderlands and Dying Light 2 for sometime in 2022. Also i know i will get the itch this year to replay and old favorite or two.
@nessisonett It's fine. The story is better than in the first game, but the whole affair is profoundly repetitive. Revisit a place from the first game --> Encounter a problem --> zomg new enforcer. Wash, rinse, repeat.
Even if that structure chills out and it adopts a more naturalistic narrative flow, though, it still feels like some ancient PS1 game with tedious combat and annoying dungeons.
All the same, I do intend to persist with it, and start the third game next year.
I'll catch up eventually. NISA is making sure of that.

December:
Assuming I’ve managed to get the platinum on all these other games, I’ll be hoping to pop #150 in December… undecided on what it’s gonna be though 🤔.
… and all of them are subject to change if I fancy playing something else entirely 🤣
@colonelkilgore I believe us gamers have found the answer to the question which has baffled philosophers and theologians the world over, Why does evil exist? Answer - EA

@colonelkilgore@The_Moose Inciting evil is exactly what they wanted.
The marketing was absolutely insane around this game. They offered a $6.66 discount if you preordered it on 9/9/9.
They had a contest were people were encouraged to take ehmm lustful(?) pictures with EA’s ‘booth babes’.
There were Christian protesters for one of their E3 presentations (I’m guessing 2009), which later turned out to be actors EA hired.
Unbelievably perhaps is that they send actual journalists reviewing the game actual cheques which they could either destroy or cash (being greedy or wasteful). Colin M worked at IGN at the time & saw this happen.
Reckon EA killed off the entire marketing team after that debacle & any chance of a sequel.
Also it was seen as a cheap GoW clone at the time & they had even hired a bunch of GoW devs to work on the game.
OT:
I’ll play along. But I guess I’ll go month to month.

I’m scared to commit to a schedule, even though I have something rough in my head. I want to have a solid plan but I’m just not sure.
Plan #1 — Over the next 3 months play from the following pool of games in no particular order:
Finish - Dark Souls Remastered, Metal Gear Solid 2, Resident Evil 4.
Start and play - Tacoma, The Pathless, Stray, Uncharted 2, Life is Strange 2, Horizon Forbidden West.
Plan #2 — Finish Dark Souls, MGS2, and RE4 this month and then start Hogwarts Legacy in February and play that for the following 3 months.
I have a feeling it might end up being plan #2.
Perhaps I can do plan #1.5 and knock out some of the shorter indies in February while the early Hogwart’s bugs are patched out and start that in March.
