@JohnnyShoulder Both.

I play with @simon_fitzgerald and @Hego pretty often, so there’s an extra spot in the squad if you wish to occupy it.

I play solo a fair bit too.

@RogerRoger The game was ok for what it was, I kept trying to parry as I'm so used to the Batman Arkham games, Also wasn't such a fan of the ending.

Just finished the main story of Spider-Man 2

The game is incredible and better than the first one and Miles Morales!

Can members please stop posting these positive reviews i am trying to resist the temptation of paying full price for this game and its becoming increasingly difficult with every review i read

@Max_Headroom Yeah, I am sorry but it is worth it I know that it is pricey even after some discounts but Insomniac went ALL out on this game and they deserve EVERY support they get!

I hope that Spider-Man 3 ends up on the PS5 and not the PS6

But I am pretty sure that its development has already started way before the release of SM2

We are still have some iconic Spider-Man villains to meet

That is a good point we forget how much time and money goes into making these games.

I am close to finishing Assassins Creed Mirage and am about half way through GoWR so i may just pull the trigger when i have finished ACM.

@Zuljaras finished already? I'm just going to pace myself. Put in about 5 hours and sitting at 14% completion.

@MightyDemon82 Technically it's not by choice since I've had less time than I would have liked to play it since it came out, but I still would have paced myself even if I had the chance. That and I also want to do the side content like I have in the previous 2 and most all open world games like this. To each their own of course, but I wouldn't rush through a $70 major game like that.

@MightyDemon82 @KilloWertz I think some people are keen to avoid spoilers, so blitzing through the game is one way to do that.

Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.

@MightyDemon82 Finished with the main story only I am back on the side missions now.

@JohnnyShoulder I am one of the few people who are NOT obsessed over spoilers. I could not care less if something is spoiled for me for either a video game or a movie/tv series. This is my superpower I have seen some cringy lunatics that threaten people if something is spoiled for them

I think you are probably in a huge minority why sit through two hours of as film if you know the ending, the same applies for 20 hours playing a game.

Honestly, I’m not terribly bothered by most minor spoilers either. I mean, yeah - I’d rather not have things spoiled, but some of the minor stuff like what a Souls boss looks like or the names of NPCs that you meet are not that big of a deal to me.

Major story spoilers are different though. I think it’s dirty to intentionally spoil a major plot twist to a person or people on the internet. It does depend on the situation as to how egregious a spoiler is, but I respect people want to go in blind.

That's precisely where I abandoned it. I struggled through a lot to reach that point, and had already skipped a lot of the Cyber Space stages (which were a triumph in the core game, so it was a real shame to have to abandon two of 'em without even completing a basic run, let alone any of the ridiculous bonus objectives). It's just such a bizarre flex from Sonic Team.
Don't let it ruin the core game's brilliance, though. Think you'll ever give it a try

First of all sorry for the late reply and secondly I definitely want to give Sonic Frontiers a go Rog.

Not sure how it is on PS4 (Pretty sure it is cross gen right?) but I'd rather wait til I have a PS5 to play it in the best possible light anyway.

I hope the difficulty gets sorted out with a patch (if it hasn't already) so you can actually witness the new ending yourself!

Just got the plat for Spider-Man 2 and I wanted something short and sweet to play until Alan Wake II is released, so I went with Metal Gear Solid. It’s definitely aged, but there’s something undeniably special about it, even now.

It’s weird going from Spider-Man 2 to this…

Although saying that, I still find it to be graphically impressive for a PS1 game.

@RogerRoger I’m enjoying it a lot more than I did when I was a kid. I used to skip all the Codec conversations and most of the topics the game discusses were a little too mature for me back then. Now I’m listening to everything and I understand it a lot more it’s made it a better experience. Plus I notice all the small details that impress me even now.

@Bentleyma I never did play the Metal Gear Solid games when I was younger, so I'm looking forward to picking this up and giving them a bash. Hopefully the games within the newly released collection hold up well!

@KAIRU Same here. I've only ever played 4 and 5, so we both have a lot of Metal Gear Solid to play in the future.

With the year being so loaded, along with early next year, I have no idea when that will be. Someday though, someday.

MGS was just mind blowing at the time.

The demo that came with OPM let you play up until you enter the hangar after crossing the helipad and I must have played it soooo many times. It was such an amazing, cinematic opening which felt like nothing I’d seen before; maybe only that short into to FF7 feeling as epic.

So many little touches now that wouldn’t seem quite so crazy, like the codec code on the back of the box or having to watch guards’ bum movements to find the person you’re looking for!

Amazing boss fights too that were just such an amazing step up from the previous console generation.
