@BlAcK_SwOrDsMaN I think you’ll enjoy it when you get to it! It’s really a fantastic game.

Those are some interesting thoughts there, thanks for sharing. From my perspective, there’s nothing gender related about emotions and I would challenge the general idea that the arts as a whole lean more towards one gender or another. Of course, some art does specifically target the interests and/or insecurities of a given audience, for any number of reasons, but a strictly masculine/feminine distinction just seems far too broad to me. Misogyny is all together its own beast; a form of sexism and discrimination.

At the end of the day, art speaks differently to everyone. I think the only thing that really makes bad art is disingenuousness. On a personal level, I’d rather listen to something blatantly and unapologetically misogynistic than something inherently misogynistic while pretending not to be. At least the first scenario represents something real and the artist could have grown from it. The other thing just sucks.

@Kraven Nice! I haven’t decided yet if I’ll go for the platinum but I’m well on my way if I do. DLC would be very welcome for this one!

I love reading that Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is so good because it's currently sitting in my backlog. Might have to play it once I'm done with Outriders.

I decided to boot up Life is Strange: True Colors for a little change of pace. So far, so good. Feels familiar like the other games in the series, but the new characters so far seems great. It’s a little slow to get going in the opening chapter, but I assume it will pick up.

I'm pretty addicted to 7 Days to Die - Console Edition. It's a massive upgrade over the PS4 version. Probably picked the wrong building to be our fortress against the zombie horde though.

@Malaise I’m almost done with chapter 2 and indeed the story has picked up after the way chapter 1 finished. I’m invested now into what’s going to happen, although I think I see where this is going.

And I hear you — the Life is Strange series does seem to hit some kind of unique emotional note with me, even though the characters tend to be completely divergent from my real life sphere of experience. 😅 I’m not really into indie music for the most part, but it really works for these games. Gives them a special chill vibe that isn’t present anywhere else in gaming, that I know of.

I’m looking forward to Double Exposure, indeed, I haven’t ever been a day 1 consumer of the series so I don’t think I’ll play it at launch though. I typically have waited for a sale for these games. It will be interesting to see what they do with Max.

As an aside, these games are perfect for the Portal, for anyone looking for options to play on the device.

I'm enjoying Jedi Survivor more and more, although the saving mechanics can be a bit frustrating. I entered a certain area yesterday (no spoilers), killed two bosses and a legendary enemy there but I wasn't prepered it's going to take so long. There was no meditation point in sight and I had to quit the game with the last save 40 minutes earlier. Now I'll probably have to do all those things again. Or maybe boss and legendary enemy kills are permanent and if I go there again, they will be dead?

I am gearing up to tackle RE2 REmake again tomorrow, hopefully, just have to go back for an item I missed and take on some more zombie dogs, unfortunately, and then make it through the next chunk, and save.

I played RE2 REmake again, took on the three zombie dogs using Dark Souls style tactics of luring them to me, one by one, and only took minor damage as a result. Then got the key item that was guarded by a "sleeping" zombie man who woke up when I took the item for a good ol' fashioned jump scare. Mentioning @Jimmer-jammer and @Th3solution as you were interested in my progress and I'm interested in how your games are going atm?

@BlAcK_SwOrDsMaN I’ve now entered the Shaded Woods in DS2, which has been… interesting. The only thing worse than a foggy area you can’t seen anything in is a foggy area with invisible enemies 😅. Well, I guess foggy area with invisible enemies, and curse traps and poison swamps would be worse 🤔 No doubt that’s what’s coming up next. 😂

@BlAcK_SwOrDsMaN Nice! Been playing Hi-Fi Rush myself. Absolutely loving it, despite being bombarded with tutorials in the early bit. It really feels like playing a cartoon and has had me laughing out loud on numerous occasions.

Been playing through RE2 REmake again this morning, doing well, I feel, Things were starting to get a bit hairy at one point, though, so I had to break out my infinite-ammo Rocket Launcher that I got ,as I've said before, as part of my DLC-purchase to deal with some close-proximity-related zombies. Made quick work of them. Onto the next.

Decided to buy and play through The Rising Tide DLC for Final Fantasy XVI and I'm really happy I did. I'd forgotten how much I like the game and how good it looks.

I'm playing through Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten. I got it when it was released a year ago, but stopped playing it for some reason. After reading Push Square's review I was expecting to find the game difficult, but I'm finding that I'm actually too overpowered. I'll get to a new area and all the enemies run away scared. I'm not complaining, I'd rather find the game to easy than to hard.
