@colonelkilgore No problem geez.

Found these as I was going through some stuff for packing earlier. Totally thought the Batman one has been lost. Shame it is not in good knick.

Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

@JohnnyShoulder nice dude, it’s so difficult to keep them in good-nick though ain’t it.

I don’t really have any of worth apart from a few Giant size X-men tucked away under the stairs. It’s gonna be interesting to see the state on them when I did them out during the upcoming house move.

@colonelkilgore Got an X-men one from the 80's which is in good knick. Don't think it is worth that much yet though.

@JohnnyShoulder yeah mine are from the 80’s too… my mum picked them up in a charity shop for me around 20 years ago. Then around 7 years ago I was doing a car-boot sale and they were part of my wares. A guy who was looking through my stuff (& bought bought some) took a look inside the covers and said “You don’t wanna sell these pal, they’re worth something!”.

I vaguely remember googling it at the time and think they were worth around £100 each… which wasn’t enough to get my ‘juices flowing’, so I just packed them away. Might look at it again when the MCU finally get around to releasing an X-men movie. It may boost the price a little.

@KidBoruto whoops! My first time seeing it, didn't realise they had done some stories already. Saw it was a first issue and thought it was something new.

@BearsEatBeets Thanks for posting that. I still need to buy the 3 previous books as I love Bloodborne and Piotr Kowalski's art Is fantastic. Not to familiar with Ales Kot, But I loved The Sixth Gun. So Cullen Bunn writing the new one is exciting news.

@BearsEatBeets Yeah I got 3 or 4 volumes of the Bloodborne comic book run. I really should get back to finish it as I've enjoyed it so far. It good to know it is still going!

@BearsEatBeets the art for Bloodborne looks fantastic.

What favorite series does everyone like? I could use a new one to read between books. I really enjoyed: Sandman (Gaiman was just in town for a chat, can't wait for the show!), Saga, RatQueens, Fables, and Lucifer to name a few.

@LN78 its still good. I can see where it might seem a bit forced, but I want to see where it goes.

@LN78 @Elodin I love Saga, have all the new issues but going to do a re-read before I jump back in. Same with most comics. Because of gaming I'm well behind, I have quite the backlog of novels/comics and t.v. shows and films. Time to put down the Dualsense and sit and read more often.

@MightyDemon82 lol same with me. I have so many good books on my shelf because I keep finding a new game to play. I fit in comics much easier.

@LN78 I’ve been waiting to catch up on Saga once there’s at least a few volumes collected for me to pick up. The mixed reviews don’t put me off, it was always going to be far too much hype to live up to and I trust that they do at least have a vision of how everything will play out.

Any James Harren fans in here? Just finished Ultra Mega, His take on Ultra man. Finished it in one sitting whilst waiting for the washing machine to end it's cycle.

I need more but I guess I have to wait for the next issue or hold out for volume 2 collection.

Gutted to hear about Tim Sale passing away. I absolutely love his art, especially his Batman and Superman. You can see his influence throughout modern comics no matter where you look.
