I went for the for the Deluxe edition, as I got £80 of credit for £68 from Shopto.

I have succumbed and digitally pre-ordered the standard edition of FF7R.

so while there is an article saying it, Square has said they have started shipping copies of FFVII Remake early to distributors and they also posted this on twitter

and i just want to reiterate what it says Please if you get the game early don't post spoilers here lets respect each other as fans of the franchise and if there is something you really want to post REMEMBER to use your spoiler tags

and no photos either, lets give it at least a month

GOOD NEWS i got a email from Amazon about FFVII Remake and it looks like it's going to arrive on time, guess this is thanks to Square letting places break the street date for dispatch

Just been told it's been pre-ordered for me as a bday present, hurray! No idea when it will arrive but looking forward to it. I'll probably play Doom and Resi 3 first.

Base just sent me an email saying they can't fulfill my preorder. Bit gutted as I placed the order months ago, but hopefully I can find a copy elsewhere.

Gunna be funny when this reviews an average of 7/10. I mean it won't put me off one bit but if it gets 8+ across the board I'll be surprised.

What makes you think that? Must admit I was expecting a lot of 9s but then I did think that for Resi 3.

@LieutenantFatman I think it's going to dip and dive between highly polished sections (like the demo) and then rougher points, with a lot of filler (some good, some very much not so good), and while I do not mind it not being "the full game" at all, I do think this will drag it down a bit in alot of peoples eyes.

I don't think 7/10 is a bad score for it really (for big fans like myself it automatically becomes a 9/10 just because it's FF7), but for a non-fanboy reviewer I am expecting scores in the 6-8/10 range.

Just got confirmation from DPD that my Final Fantasy 7 Remake is coming tomorrow morning!

Gonna try to resist playing till the patch but I'll probably break my oath by midday 😂

@DonJorginho just crack it open and get on with it tbh! I could go get it early from a local store (he is "closed") as it happens but I am going to hold out until 10th since it's a 4 day weekend and I can chill out and play it properly. Also I think he wants £60 for it and I am just not that desperate to get it haha. Also, we shouldn't be going out

I guess that is a fair bet, especially if you consider Final Fantasy games of the last few years.
