@WanderingBullet The outfits in FF12 generally are pretty dumb. Loads of plate armour around the legs and arms leaving squishy torsos exposed. That said, since when was Final Fantasy clothing all about practicality lol

I do remember hating the look of Zidane before playing FF9 though. That tail, pointless cuffs and lace round his neck? After playing the game though I loved it!

I also don't get the Vaan hate, I think he's quite a tolerable chap. I don't understand the hate the Tidus laugh scene in FFX either. It's a forced laugh so it's meant to sound forced but gets ridiculed anyway.

@Feena Maybe Vaan's voice being American has something to it? Most of the cast are quintessentially British. I do prefer British accents in RPG's, especially medieval type RPG's....unless it's Geralt of Rivia of course.

@ApostateMage Huh, probably that's why it felt a bit out of place to begin with...anyway this guy hasn't done anything after 12 and I can see, well hear, why!

@kyleforrester87 @WanderingBullet sooo, job tips? What would you recommend for every character? I just chose hunter for Van.

@Feena Well my White Mage/Shikari combo comes recommended for a tanky healer other than that I got nothing, im winging it and seeing what sticks haha.

@Feena Sorry, Feena, but I didn't buy the PS4 version because I've already played it back then on the PS2. I usually don't buy remasters if I've only played the original.

@kyleforrester87 Mmm nice one, I will use this combo for Bash!
@WanderingBullet very understandable, especially given the amount of titles coming out this year...I just can't resist a FF remaster though. Dreaming of IX and VI on ps4 ...

@Feena if we get IX i will scream with joy

"I pity you. You just don't get it at all...there's not a thing I don't cherish!"

"Now! This is it! Now is the time to choose! Die and be free of pain or live and fight your sorrow! Now is the time to shape your stories! Your fate is in your hands!

WanderingBullet

Just curious but can you return to Chapt. 14's Insomnia level post game? I've beaten the last boss but I'm not sure if I've looted everything in that chapter.

@WanderingBullet yup you can. There's an interesting weapon "hidden" there if you are a collector...

WanderingBullet

@Feena Oh, I am as long as its not too difficult (or tedious) to get them. Anyways, you've got me intrigue with that interesting weapon. I'll go look for it once I've defeated the Adamantoise. I think its the only trophy left that I haven't unlocked. Right now I'm just doing Randolph's non-dungeon quests.

Thanks.

@WanderingBullet those quests give you incredible weapons! I'd also check out the secret hidden dungeon you can only get into with the Regalia type F, as it is quite cool.

The hidden weapon in chapter 14 is not too hard to get just tricky

I started Final Fantasy XIV again because why not?

Because I have a massive backlog? Pfft.

I have no regrets.

X:

WanderingBullet

@Feena Yeah, I read a guide and it seems like there are a quite a few prerequisites I'll have to do to get the Psychomancer to appear.

Yeah that one! Happy hunting!

@johncalmc I am so tempted! I have a community of friends that actively play it but I have too many games to play 😣

@Feena When I was playing FFXIV for 8 months, it was the only game I played and nothing else.

WanderingBullet

@Feena I got Ulric's Kukris Daggers as well the Platinum trophy for the game.

So what happens if I go defeat Ardyn for the second time?

@WanderingBullet wah! Congratulations! May I suggest you try out Pitios ruins?

You just watch the ending again I guess if you fight him once more.

WanderingBullet

@Feena Thanks! That's the one where I'll need the Regalia Type-F to get to, right? Isn't that dungeon the most difficult one?lol

Hmm... I haven't decided on doing any of the dungeons, yet. If I do, I think I'll start with the easiest one first.

Huntin' monsters erryday.

Nei

@WanderingBullet there are 8 or 9 "tower" kind of dungeons with escalating difficulty but this particular one is not one of those. It's really worth a play! And yes you need the flying Regalia
