@Quintumply How big's that thing? The picture doesn't convey scale. I'm guessing there wasn't a large choice on what to spend points on.

@RogerRoger I've got the statue they did for the original Division and it's really good quality for the price. I might go for this one as I think the game will be great. I tried looking for the Kassandra statue after finishing Odyssey but it's hard to come by and overpriced if you do. That will teach me for not getting around to starting the game for a year.

@RogerRoger I think it's funny that apparently most players played as Alexios over Kassandra and yet the Kassandra statue is sold out and only available at huge mark up. Whereas Alexios is still available and only £30 now. Unless they made way more Alexios figures, then I suppose my point is moot.

@RogerRoger I’m sure there are many young nerds that want to look at leather-clad men, they just haven’t realised it yet 😉

Plumbing’s just Lego innit. Water Lego.

@RogerRoger I'm often glad I find the big head and black dot eyes off-putting because Funko are impressive with the extensive range of characters they do. Peter holding his mask is pretty cool though.

@BearsEatBeets Cheers. Bejesus that's a next gen console there!

@JohnnyShoulder yeah that one is for the die-hard collector/fans only. I mainly try and submit more affordable stuff but there might be some interested parties. My Witcher collection is pretty outrageous.

@BearsEatBeets I've got a Witcher 3 wolf metal wall hanging which I think was about 30 quid. Come to think of it that is probably my most expensive piece of gaming tat! Mine mostly consists of a few Funk Pops and some gaming arty posters I've got over the years.

Anyone after a poseable Tifa?

Or Cloud I suppose.

Pretty expensive but quite large and seems very poseable. I noticed them here but probably available at various places.

@LN78 I noticed when I found the photos that they are cheaper from Square Enix's own store but not sure what they charge for postage.

Looks like PCS is doing some other suits from Spider-Man. Interesting for them to do this one, I wasn't aware it was popular. I'll be hoping they do the Black Cat one and the final fight with Octivus one.

Treated myself to some birthday goodies from Square-Enix!

First up is the Chrono Orchestra set, which contains the Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross orchestra performances on CD, as well as a bonus disc containing a handful of pretty piano performances. Aside from a pre-order bonus disc that came with the DS port of Chrono Trigger - it contained a short medley and the main theme - there hasn't been a live orchestra version until now. Given how beloved the games and their music are, this is a real treat for fans. The box is a little large given what is inside, but it's nicely presented.

Next up is the Chrono Trigger "Revival" Blu Ray, which is basically a remaster of the original SNES soundtrack set to footage of the game. MP3s are included so that the music can be transferred to PC and then listened to on phones and other devices, although it's a shame that better audio codecs are not available. Chrono Trigger has one of my favourite game scores and it's lovely to have higher quality recordings; instruments and bass generally sound clearer, benefiting from the removal of the SNES' trademark sample compression that resulted in many titles having slightly muffled sound. Additionally, the DS version's soundtrack has a somewhat harsh quality. It comes in a very attractive digipak with character artwork from the game, plus a booklet containing notes from composer Yasunori Matsuda that have been translated into English, along with several pages of keyart. In all a nicely presented set.

Last but not least is a Master Chief Play Arts Kai figure that I've had my eye on for a very long time. This is the Halo 5 version and comes supplied with various bits and bobs, including an array of hands, a head with cracked visor and a few weapons. It makes me laugh that the box says "for ages 15 years and up", which all Square Enix figures do - something I suspect is designed to make grown men feel better about owning toys. It's not a toy, it's an ornament!!! 😂 Master Chief's armour is very nicely detailed and well painted. Additionally the figure has a good weight to it and can be set in a large number of poses given that the joints can be moved. I'm not terribly imaginative, so for now have him in a running pose. I haven't found a space for him yet so need to make some room!
