Note: Downgrading to Windows 8/8.1 or 7 is not an option, nor is using an ethernet connection instead of wi-fi. Please don't recommend either, I have my reasons.
I can't get Windows 10 to recognize/show my wireless adapter, no matter what I've done. Already tried disabling all other network adapters first before installing the latest driver from their website, and then rebooting, nothing happened. I've also tried going thru device manager and updating it that way, won't even let me update and it can't find drivers automatically.
Please can someone here help me figure out what the problem is with my wireless adapter and make it work/show up on my computer?

This is assuming it's not showing up on Windows/device manager (is it even called that these days?!) at all, try going into the bios and making sure it's enabled there (think it will be called WLAN). If you have the option to disable the onboard Ethernet from there too (you should have) then it would be worth doing that to avoid any conflicts between the two.
Edit: sorry just realised you have a PCIe wireless card so it wouldn't be under the bios WLAN. Still it's worth disabling the onboard Ethernet in the bios to see if it pics up the card instead. Also try normal stuff like make sure it's properly seated on the mobo or try another slot if possible. But deffinetly disable the onboard ethernet.
Worst case scenario you can get a USB wireless adapter for a tenner anyway?
