@Kyroki: Yeah the signature is your own private place to post what you want. As long as it doesn't contain any profanity, insults, political or something along those lines and the site you link to is not a porn site or something.

Hello I am new to this site and I am simply looking for a good chat on video games.... from e3 just around the corner to retro games and the future of gaming.

I am a pretty level headed gamer.... meaning I like games, not much for console wars garbage... not that don;t have an opinion on the pros and cons on each system out there but... I am never going to try and convince someone else that their opinion should be like mine...

That said I prefer just playing games instead of talking about the hardware the game is playing it on... with out the software hardware is nothing really... can not play the hardware.... can we....

Bit about myself... I am old but not grey, have a wonderful family that also likes to game. I am pretty easy going.
I also have an infinity for the period button ... sorry about that old habit and hard to break.

Look forward to chatting in the forums from time to time...

Thanks for the welcome, and it is good to hear about the others here.

As for systems... I have all three, PSVita, PS3 and the PS4. Right now the PS4 is used the most and the Vita is used the least...

my favourite games is a long list... but on the PS4 right now I am playing Overwatch, Fallout 4 and Dirt Rally jumping from game to game which I normally don;t like to do... but that is the situation I find myself in... would rather play one game at a time get it out of the way and move on to the next.

My 3 games I am looking forward to the most. For the PS4 is Xcom 2, Horizon, Don't Starve Together and one more would have to be a seeing a Red Dead sequel there.... that would be awesome as well.

I am an easy going gamer... I like a lot of Genres but sadly I am not excellent in one of them... I am an average gamer when it comes to skill. My favourite Genres would be RPG, FPS, Strategy games (TBS and RTS), and Racing... my least played would be Sports and Fighting, but that does not mean I don't play them... just don't play them all too often...

How about you, what genres are your favourite and what games have spun lately in your Playstation.

@themcnoisy: Don't quote me but I THINK iDangerMouse and Kyroki are different people, but both with Sly avatars? I'm always getting them mixed up! haha

Sadly I have never platinum a game... Horrible yes. I have got close a few times but never have gone after everything in a game....

I beat most stories to the games and play the online to most but not all... but I find it hard to go after every little thing....
I know I should be doing this more... even a mate of mine has just platinum Battlefield 4 last night... but I either don't'' have the patients or the skill... Like I said I am an average gamer... (sadly)

I sure hope we see a new Red Dead at E3, can't wait... things will start off very shortly.... only another day or so...

Thanks eh, I like making avatars and that used to make sigs a lot for others... but time is a lot less now... that said.. .I have not played PacMan Championship. But I did get the Mrs PacMan and Galaga the older retro games that were redone for ps4.

Sadly I have them for a few systems now... allows seem to break down and pick them up...

Didn't realise Pure Xbox had shut down yesterday :S Hope you guys at PS are going strong still

@kyleforrester87: Yeah Pure Xbox shutting down does not affect Nintendo Life or Push Square so don't worry on that front. In fact as @get2sammyb keeps saying, big things are in the works.

@Rukiafan7: It is now but I had to do a major wipe. Found out that indeed that link contained a Trojan that when I ran my malware scan it cought it, hopefully it got rid of it but please be a bit more careful next time when posting questionable links.

Here I am in northwest Missouri and am woken up at 7 A.M by an earthquake O_O! (Needless to say, that ISN'T supposed to happen, lol)

I woke up to my bed swaying, and I could hear my bro saying that the utility poles & street lights outside were shaking (when I got up, my father said the whole house was slightly shaking, as well).

Apparently there was a 5.6 quake15KM northwest of a city in Oklahoma called Pawnee, and that's what we were feeling.
