The Oliver Twins asked Dizzy fans to help pledge £350,000 into the Kickstarter campaign in order for the game to be made.
Unfortunately, on 21 December 2012 (which was the Kickstarter project's deadline) only £25,620 was pledged into the campaign. The Oliver Twins announced on the same day that 'Dizzy Returns' is no longer in development.....

That's about that then.
