@YummyHappyPills I have had that happen a few times, one time they delivered my package to the next street over. Lucky for me the owner was a nice person and brought it to me instead of keeping it. But still that shouldn't happen.

@RogerRoger Surprised to hear your GAME store is so limited. The one here keeps a pretty wide and varied stock.
Our HMV does carry a fair amount of Funko Pops, but Forbidden Planet has an entire ground floor dedicated to them, so no one can quite compete with them!

@KALofKRYPTON@RogerRoger HMV having nothing Nintendo I knew about, its been that way since before the 3DS launched.
As for their smaller PS4/Xbox One stuff...I also kiiinda knew that, but its good to see its more than just store cards now.
As for GAME not stocking amiibo, that's nothing new. They have a small section for 3DS and Switch stuff in my local (12 miles away but yeah) stores. I remember LEGO Dimensions and such still being in abundance but amiibo weren't, even when LEGO and such were canned.
This country is weird.
Basically the conclusions I'm drawing is that if you want Nintendo stuff, youre going online. If you want more niche titles for anything else, it's online. If you're going for the usual suspects, then it's on the high street.

So, you might be a little more tired than you think when you say a nightly prayer and it goes like this, “Please bless my brother, please bless Makato, .... wait, she’s not real, it doesn’t work that way...”
Persona 5 again lol. Just happened straight as a reflex, I just said it lol. Then I was like, wait a minute.
kyleforrester87 How bad is the arthritis? My mother is seeing a rheumatologist this month due to pain all down one side of her body. They reckon it's fibromyalgia which has no known concrete cause or cure.
And of course my right knee, if I dont keep my leg outstretched, will seize up and straightening it out is the most painful experience. Need an MRI scan really.
Yeah, I'm falling apart

@YummyHappyPills I've been diagnosed with Ankylosing spondylitis for about 6 years, but I think I have some other undiagnosed issues too since I have on going problems with my extremities. It was so bad in the first 5 years, I couldn't put any weight on my right foot/severe chest pains (couldnt sneeze for about 7 years!) and lower back pain. I've been on immunosuppressants for about 2 years now (weekly injections and hospital visits every 1-2 months) which really sorted out a lot of the "overall" inflammation and I don't have to be taking naproxen every day now but I have chronic pain in my left foot (pretty much constant limp) and my left elbow (can't lift over 1kg above my head on my left arm). Also pretty susceptible to infections because of the meds and normal colds hit me really hard.
Despite that I do exercise pretty regularly so I'm in pretty fair shape to look at, you probably wouldn't know much was wrong with me I guess. But people expect me to be able bodied and on bad days they think I'm just making a fuss.
Doing lots of physio on my foot and my elbow though, hopefully I can break the scar tissue in the tendons down and get a better range of movement. Wondering if I should see if keyhole surgery is an option though.
Sorry for the long moan, gotta try and stay positive eh?
@kyleforrester87 That sounds so rough. I think I knew someone at school who had keyhole surgery, it helped them immensely. The good news is you can get the inflammation under control but that comes with it's own problems like infection.
It's something that can't be "fixed" but only managed. And dont worry, if you ever have a bad day I understand.
But people expecting you to be able bodied, yeah I get that. You get below my waist on my knee dislocates, I can barely walk, and someone wants me to move some cabinets. I mean I can, but I better get breakfast in bed tomorrow XD
I do recommend keyhole surgery. If it's an option no reason not to, if only for relief.

@YummyHappyPills Thanks for the kind words - yeah I'm going to keep going with the physio and speak about surgery next time I see the specialist, I'm not too keen to jump under the knife but it would be good to know if it's an option. It's definitely a case of managing it, and while there is inevitably going to be limitations it's real important (like with other chronic conditions) not to let it totally rule your life. Honestly I've always been impressed about how well my body has handled situations that have seemed impossible in my head, if you push yourself you realise you're still pretty capable and not an invalid. Rest is rust - gotta try and keep moving and whatever you do, don't quit!
@kyleforrester87 I know all about pain management. I've had enough head injuries that some days I have constant migraines, and of course there is no cure for that post surgery pain either. I'll be fully recovered from that by June though.
As for the other things, like my knees, I've had them looked at before by several professionals and no one knows what's wrong. They all agree something IS wrong, but until someone has the balls to put in an MRI, I just need to manage, and of course that means in the back of a car or something I am in a serious amount of pain.
I at least know I'm not an invalid anymore. Before my surgery as I said, near death (YAY!!!!) from sepsis. Long and short if someone drops something on your foot dont assume there won't be complications. Of course I was in so much pain I couldn't walk. Now, I can actually go places albeit slowly.
But that's just the thing, if at any point I stop, I hate it. The past few days have been the post surgery sleep fest, and I hate it. I'm not doing anything. I'm not doing my streams or community management or searching for paid work.

@YummyHappyPills@kyleforrester87 Building bridges through chronic illness. 🙂
Seriously, salute to you both. Health and well being is too easy to take for granted. Hopefully a more permanent solution for your suffering can be worked out. Thankfully video games offer an escape from life’s problems. At least for my comparatively rather trivial problems they do.

@YummyHappyPills My girlfriend has a bum knee too, she got an MRI and had an operation, unfortunately it didn't really fix the problem so it was a year of discomfort for nothing really. I guess you need to rule out if it's something that needs surgery, or something that you can work on with physio, yoga, light weight lifting etc. Obviously you don't want to be making it worse doing those things. The problem is it takes so long to get that question answered, so you spend ages in fear of doing anything. Sounds like you need a scan to get some answers. I've been fortunate to have all sorts of MRI's, xrays, ultrasounds and nuclear bone scans. And the odd colonoscopy for kicks
@Th3solution I'm waiting for the day this is feasible, I'll be first in line! :')
Honestly I'm so used to it now though it's just kind of there. Could be much worse!
@kyleforrester87 Well it's on my to do list. My knee is prone to dislocation, which leads to the pain I believe. The stiffness is...I don't know really.
Of course I could have any number of health issues I dont know about, downside of one of your parents being adopted I suppose...
But each day is different. Some days I feel fine. Others, yeah I can't do much.
