This is a no-brainer buy for me, a Who game that looks decent!!
I'll be getting the Vita version- though the disc is tempting. There's very little information it seems as to the difference in the PS3 and Vita versions though, there may of course, be no difference but . . .
Anyone with clues as to Vita specific functions-if any, please chime in.
So, Eurogamer gave The Eternity Clock a fairly scathing 2/10. And, as a game on it's own merits, I can totally see where they're coming from given what I've seen of the game- but also, they hit the nail on the head with what Doctor Who fans are willing to accept/put up with as content, as despite the scathing review, I'll probably still buy it.
Anyone here have anything positive to report of their experience with the game?

We'll have a review later this week. Should be... interesting.
You're not coming across as enthralled either James, I'm sure the license as a whole, the music the voices, the sounds etc will probably be enough to win me over.
I don't actiually own my own Wii or DS so haven't played any of the recent (terrible) games. So I'm due one I suppose.

It's getting a fair panning mostly. But then, you can't base what you may enjoy entirely off of reviews. The good Mr. Miller over at IGN gave Resistance Burning Skies a 5.5, a mediocre score for sure, and possibly deservedly so- but that doesn't mean it won't be an enjoyable game. There's plenty of games that have received bad reviews that I've enjoyed and vise-versa.
I fully remember the wonderful Lair being generally dumped on by the entire gaming press, but- despite the flaws of the majority of the game engine and front end (all recycled wholesale from Factor 5's Rogue Leader/Rebel Strike games), I really enjoyed it. And found the much maligned motion control to be as I'd expect a dragon to control (as if that makes real world sense any way). In fact- the later update (and as I'd found the controller 2/Remote Play workaround) that implemented analogue control took the shine off of the game.

My gf is a huge fan of Doctor Who, I bet she'll want to sit with me to play through this game. Shes also happy to know the writer of the show was involved with the game's script.
I bet if its as good as the show, its worth it for fans for sure.
