@themcnoisy ah so when you first encoutner an enemy and you go into turn based combat, you first try a move, check their stats and work out weakness, try and exploit weakness, then twonk the heck out of them when they are crumpled?

@themcnoisy Nice one, cheers. Expect more questions. I started it ages ago but am determined to get back into it.

Persona 4 combat is basically a big elaborate game of rock, scissor, paper. You basically have to exploit the weakness of enemies in order to wipe them out efficiently, while not leaving yourself open to the same thing. So if your enemy kicks out lightning attacks but is weak to fire, you're going to want to equip a Persona that can dish out fire damage, but is also strong to lightning, or at least not weak to it. For bosses, you might need to switch up your party since some party members will be hopeless for you if they're weak to an attack that the boss has.

Once you get further in the game you can block against these weaknesses and it gets a little easier to manage, although the boss attacks also become more elaborate to balance that out.

But that's the gist.

What are the differences between the original Persona 4 and Persona 4: Golden besides the obvious addition of trophies?
