Lost Galaxy levels are secret stages hidden throughout Astro Bot. In order to unlock these special levels, you must first locate special warp portals, which are secret exits found in specific levels. If a level contains a Lost Galaxy Warp Portal, it will have the above pictured symbol underneath the level name.

Then it's just a case of hunting for the secret exit, which will lead to the Lost Galaxy level it unlocks. What you're looking for is a disco ball with a wire to pull. When you pull the wire, you'll reveal a special golden warp portal that leads to a Lost Galaxy level.
