You can't expand your inventory in Atomfall, or gain any additional inventory item slots in the game. The slots you have at the start of the title are the same ones you'll have once you reach one of its Endings . While there are upgrades you can get throughout the experience, none of them expand your inventory. The only way you can perform any inventory management is by simply discarding things you no longer want or by finding the Pneumatic Dispatch Tubes. While they are rare, Pneumatic Dispatch Tubes are found sparingly across each map in the game, and they let you store items in them. If you place something in them, you'll be able to take it out and slot it back into your inventory if you find another somewhere else — or simply return to the same one you found. Using the Pneumatic Dispatch Tubes, you can't get around the limited inventory to a degree, but since they're pretty rare, they shouldn't be relied upon. As such, your inventory will remain limited almost the entire time in Atomfall.
