How to Catch All Bugsnax in Flavor Falls
Here's a list of every Bugsnak in Flavor Falls and how to catch them.
Caramel Poptick
Loves: Cheese, Chocolate
Description: Pre-puffed and bouncing uncontrollably. May take more luck than skill to catch.
Time Active: All day, raining
How to Catch: Caramel Popticks only appear when it's raining, so wait until then. Go through the small tunnel to the area with the Pinkle in the middle of some water, and you'll find a few Caramel Popticks bouncing around. As the description says, your best bet is to simply put down the Snak Trap and wait for one to bounce within its radius.
Green Lollive
Loves: Cheese
Description: Latches onto snax and traps with its upsettingly long tongue.
Time Active: All day
How to Catch: There are a couple of ways to catch this Bugsnak. One way is to set up the Lunchpad near the Green Lollive, and place the Snak Trap on top. Launch the trap at the creature in mid-air. Alternatively, you could use the Trip Shot to interrupt its flight path.
Inchwrap
Loves: Ranch Dressing, Cheese
Description: As long as it's under the dirt, it can't be caught. But it can't dig through solid objects...
Time Active: All day
How to Catch: Lure the Inchwrap from beneath the surface by shooting a sauce it likes onto a rock. It should come above ground. Quickly have the Snak Trap prepared, and capture it.
Mama Mewon (Legendary)
Description: This massive snak protects its offspring at all costs. Try to get the drop on it.
Time Active: All day
How to Catch: Mama Mewon is a Legendary Bugsnak. For more on how to best these special Bugsnax, see our guide: Bugsnax: How to Defeat All Legendary Bugsnax.
Pinkle
Loves: Ranch Dressing
Description: The jar protects it from capture. Perhaps it can be grappled away.
Time Active: All day
How to Catch: Equip the Snak Grappler. Use it to grab the jar off the Pinkle, then throw the jar away somewhere. The loose creature will run around scared. Set up your Snak Trap in the area, and then lure the Pinkle to it using ranch dressing.
Rootle
Loves: Ranch Dressing
Description: Burrows into the soil when scared.
Time Active: 6pm to 4am
How to Catch: A super easy Bugsnak to catch. Take a picture of one with your SnaxScope to reveal its path. Equip the Snak Trap and drop it somewhere along the path. The Rootle will burrow into the ground until you back away. When it wriggles into the trap's radius, activate it to catch the Rootle.
Ruby Peelbug
Loves: Chocolate
Description: It hides inside of narrow tunnels near the Flavor Falls.
Time Active: All day
How to Catch: Equip and drop the Buggy Ball, then guide it into one of the small holes in the rock. Out of the other side, the Ruby Peelbug will appear. It'll start patrolling a circular route, so just use your Snak Trap to get it.
Sandopede
Loves: Cheese, Ranch Dressing
Description: Speeds along crashing into things. It won't slow down until it's broken up.
Time Active: All day
How to Catch: The easiest way to catch a Sandopede (or Sub Sandopede) is with the Trip Shot. Identify the Sandopede's path, then set up the Trip Shot so it crosses over. When the Bugsnak walks into the wire, it'll break apart into several pieces, all stunned and ready to catch.
Strabby
Loves: Chocolate
Description: A very simple snak. Watch its walking pattern.
Time Active: All day
How to Catch: This is one of the easiest Bugsnax to capture. First, whip out the SnaxScope and take a picture of the Strabby. This reveals its walking pattern. Equip your Snak Trap and place it somewhere along the highlighted path. You'll probably spook the Strabby and it'll run into a bush. Just back away and wait for it to come back out. Once it wanders within the radius of your trap, trigger it and hey presto.
Sub Sandopede
Loves: Cheese, Ranch Dressing
Description: These are actually separate Bugsnax that work together as a Sandopede.
Twisty Snakpod
Description: Hidden around the Flavor Falls. Not quite as healthy as you'd think.
Time Active: All day
How to Catch: Snakpods are easy to catch. They don't move, so once you find one, just approach it and pick it up with Square. If you can't reach it, use the Snak Grappler to snag it.
Wee Mewon
Loves: Chocolate
Description: Offspring of the Mama Mewon. They're a nuisance but pretty easy to catch...
Time Active: All day
How to Catch: Wee Mewons can only be caught during the encounter with Mama Mewon — see above.
White Rootle
Loves: Ranch Dressing
Description: Seldom seen at the same time as regular Rootles.
Time Active: 6am to 4pm
How to Catch: Just like regular Rootles, these are easy to catch. Scan it to show its route, drop the Snak Trap, and wait for it to slither inside.
