How Do You Unlock All Characters in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero?

There are multiple ways to unlock characters in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero. These methods are:

• Some characters can be unlocked by completing Episodes in Episode Mode (the main story mode)
• Some characters can be unlocked by winning offline Tournaments for the first time
• Some characters can be unlocked by completing the developer-made Custom Episodes

In short, just beating single-player modes will unlock a bunch of additional characters.

However, there is an easier way to unlock specific characters. As you continue playing Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, your Player Level will increase. And as you level up, more characters will be added to the in-game store.

In the store, you can spend Zeni (the in-game currency) to unlock characters of your choice. This also unlocks their alternate, often more powerful forms.

Some are more expensive than others, but Zeni is relatively easy to come by, as you'll be granted Zeni after every fight — online or offline — and you can get loads of Zeni by completing tasks for Whis and Zen-Oh.

What's the Fastest Way to Earn Zeni in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero?

Completing tasks for Whis and Zen-Oh is the fastest way to earn Zeni early in the game. This is because you'll complete a lot of tasks simply by progressing through the single-player modes, and you'll be rewarded with huge amounts of Zeni for your trouble.

However, once the more basic tasks have dried up, your main supply of Zeni will come from winning battles all across the game. Try completing the various offline tournaments in order to rack up a lot of additional Zeni.

Beyond that, online fights give you the most Zeni overall, as versus battles against the CPU are capped at 1,000 Zeni (which isn't much).

By and large, though, you should have enough Zeni to unlock all of your favourite characters long before you need to grind through online or offline matches.
