How Do You Access the Elden Ring Nightreign Beta Test?
Access to the Elden Ring Nightreign beta test has been based on email sign-ups that FromSoftware was accepting last month. If you were accepted, you'll have received an email containing your download code. Having downloaded the app, you'll be able to access the beta test at the stated times above.
Unfortunately, if you didn't sign up for a chance to get an Elden Ring Nightreign beta test code when they were being accepted, you won't be able to play. The only chance you have is to see if any of your friends have a spare code or search online for one. There is no other way to access the beta test; it's not being made public on any storefronts.
How Do You Get an Elden Ring Nightreign Beta Test Code?
Unless you signed up for a beta test code when FromSoftware was accepting applicants last month, there's no real way to get one now. There's a chance the developer will offer drops of multiple codes on its social media accounts, or a friend you know might have one spare. However, the official way of gaining access to the Elden Ring Nightreign beta test has now passed.
What Can You Play the Elden Ring Nightreign Beta Test On?
The Elden Ring Nightreign beta test is available to play on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. While the full game will also be available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, the beta test isn't on those platforms.
Do You Need PS Plus to Play the Elden Ring Nightreign Beta Test?
No, an active PS Plus membership is not required to play the Elden Ring Nightreign beta test. As long as you have your code, the client downloaded, and an internet connection, you can play the beta test at the start times stated above.

What Can You Play in the Elden Ring Nightreign Beta Test?
All FromSoftware has confirmed is the Elden Ring Nightreign beta test will contain "a portion of the game". It's expected you'll be able to play a full session of the game, working through its day and night cycle and fighting bosses at the end. All the classes will probably be pickable also.
Are There Rewards for Playing the Elden Ring Nightreign Beta Test?
No rewards have been confirmed for the Elden Right Nightreign beta test that you could carry over to the full game.
Does Your Progress in the Elden Ring Nightreign Beta Test Carry Over to the Full Game?
It's been confirmed that none of your progress will carry over into the full game. This beta test is just a taster of what's to come, and you'll need to start over again when the game releases.

Curse those awkward UK times. I will hopefully get on Friday and possibly Sunday, excited to see what they do with the world in a new style.
What's up with those UK times?
I saw the times for UK/IRE yesterday and more or less gave up on it.
Maybe Sunday morning I might get in for an hour or so to take a look.
Hey Push Square, just a heads up - you’ve put the UK ending times for session 2 and 3. They’re 3am-6pm and 7pm-10pm. Cheers
how could have i missed this? was there anything about the emails signups on here? :.(
Those are some goofy times for North America too. Why not try the server test when people will actually be playing games? And the UK times are just as nonsense. Clearly these times were picked for the Japanese market.
Just not sure why we couldn’t just have a full day though for one of the days?
Looks like I’ll be waking up early on Sunday potentially…
@Lotan52 Fixed, thanks for that!
@misak192 Yep: https://www.pushsquare.com/news/2025/01/elden-ring-nightreign-network-test-sign-ups-available-now
I've read a review on another website, the game seems passable. As expected, it's fun a couple of minutes but gets quickly old and repetitive.
I hope that From Soft tries to make a souls like game in the style of Concord.
Rofl. 3 whole hours to build my life around for a very questionable new direction of a beloved developer. Someone is reaaaaally full of themselves.
Massive Souls fan and I'm hearing good things but I haven't got time to play games with others. Probably a pass from me.
A few hours in and you realise this has DLC expansion written all over it. Naked cash grab releasing it as a standalone title.
Tried to play yesterday but the game was under maintenance
